5 /5 Brian Webber: Where do I start, From the service to the workmanship everything was done exceptionally well. I am a local owner of a tour and transportation company in the city of New Orleans I brought one of my vehicles to have service and the service was exceptional my transmission was done on time and running super not only that the charge was originally $725 when I got there he said it’ll only be $614 because The original labor cost would have been four hours but he did it in less time and remove the difference on the price. Being a business owner myself you do not find that kind of integrity everywhere. In business relationships are important and I have learned in my time to not take those relationships for granted. You definitely have my business moving forward. Thank you so much for your outstanding workmanship in customer service highly recommend this company and in particular this location. Thanks buddy.

5 /5 Celeste McCoy: I thought I needed a new transmission when I brought my vehicle in. That would have been very expensive. They could have just told me " yep you need a new transmission " but they investigated my complaint and delivered some great news. Todd told me my problem was something else ( not my transmission) and would be much cheaper to fix. Now my vechical is running great and I feel like I can trust Todd at Cottman.

5 /5 Dawn Araujo: I first went to Cottman because my vehicle was making a noise. Jason looked at it and discovered it was only a missing bolt that needed to be replaced. My vehicle is now 11 years old so when they had took care of the bolt I asked them to let me know if there was anything else that needed attention. Two issues, the CV joint which need to replaced immediately and the brakes within the next month or two. I was given an estimate from Todd and I brought the vehicle in the morning when they open to have the CV joint replaced and was charged exactly what the estimate was and the job was done by the end of that same day. Sure enough, within a two months my brakes began to grind. Again, I brought it in in the morning, was charged according to estimate, and received the vehicle by the end of the same day. I purchased a new battery from a local auto parts shop and the guy there told me my alternator maybe going bad. I recently brought my vehicle in believing my alternator need to be replaced. I received a call from Todd explaining that my alternator is running properly and it did not need to be replaced. I was very grateful for his honesty. I would not trust anyone but Todd, Jason, and their crew to work on my vehicle. These guys are a rare find in this business and I would recommend them to anyone. Thanks.

5 /5 Terrence Burroughs: I brought my 2011 GMC Acadia to Cottman Transmission for a transmission concern. After checking my transmission concern I was informed that it was not a major concern. I truly appreciate their honesty. The price to repair and service my transmission was reasonable and even though they had to order the parts kit for my vehicle. I feel that I got my vehicle back in a timely manner. I picked my vehicle up on 6/9/21. I have been driving it for a full week now. My transmission is shifting fine now and that makes me a happy customer. My wife and I are truly grateful to Todd and his team there at Cottman Transmission!

To perform a thorough TransCheck 21 PLUS Service before recommending repairs. To honor the price quoted. To perform Authorized Repairs. To return the transmission to its original condition at no cost to the customer if no internal problem is found. To resolve complaints promptly and courteously. To develop a long standing relationship with our community. However they dont honor their own Code...Recently I had the misfortune of doing business with the Cottman dealer in Gretna when he called to get authorization to do the repairs on my vehicle, I was quoted one price which I thought was fair and reasonable to replace a clutch and resurface the flywheel on my wifes vehicle. However when we went to pickup the vehicle this price had increased by over 300.00. When I inquired why there was such a difference in the original quote as compared to the final price I was told that the original price quoted was not the actual final price.. This sounds like the old bait and switch game... If this is the kind of business they practice then their so called Code of Ethics means absolutely nothing to them ... Nor do they wish to develop a long standing relationship with our community. As a retired Law Enforcement officer and the spouse of and father to dedicated military personal I know about Honoring the Code of Ethics and this is not how you Honor the Code!!.
