Finding the right car shop to take your vehicle to is like finding the right dentist. You wouldnāt want just anyone to start hacking away. You need someone who is not only knowledgeable, but also has great bedside manner, over-communicates and does exactly what he says he is going to do.
Enough good things cannot be said about Dan, the owner-master technician at The Auto Lounge. After purchasing a Jeep for my daughter, I quickly found out why people say that Jeep stands for āJust Empty Every Pocketā. Luckily I had also purchased an extended warranty which Dan was more than happy to work with. For those of you who have purchased aftermarket warranties, you know it can be quite the undertaking to get repairs approved and shops normally donāt like working with these warranty companies because it adds time to the repair and time down on a vehicle equals lost productivity/revenue.
Every step of the way from dropping my daughterās car off at The Auto Lounge, to the diagnosis of the carās issues, to the interactions with the warranty company, and any issues that may have arisen when conducting the repairā¦Dan kept me abreast the entire time.
I travel quite a bit for work and Dan was always sure to keep me updated by trying to call me first, leaving a message and then leaving me a text message. Amazing communication! This is quite possibly the step that all dealerships and repair shops get wrong. Dan is a true professional, not just with his tools of the trade, but also from a customer experience perspective.
Although I live more than 25 miles away from The Auto Lounge, traveling out to Canton was 100% worth it to have Dan work on my daughterās Jeep. I am happy to report that the long laundry list of issues with the Jeep are all now resolved and the car is like new. Thank you Dan for setting the gold standard! Consider me a loyal customer. I will be back.
