UF Health Heart and Vascular Surgery at Halifax Health - Daytona Beach (FL)

Shelbi Goodwin I was seen by APRN Brittany this morning. It had been about 5years since my last GYN appt, so I had a lot of questions and options about my contraceptive future. She was very knowledgeable and took the time to show me how much she cares by going over every question and option thoroughly. She was very respectful, and I felt that I could trust her. I also genuinely liked her as a person, which is so refreshing! I went ahead and made my next check up a year in advance with her, as well as moving forward with treatment. I had no issues with any of the staff, check in was quick and efficient. Wait was maybe 6-8minutes. The nurse who took me from the lobby was sweet and engaged in conversation with me as well.

Kathy Lawrence Fantastic experience. Medical staff are extremely friendly and accommodating. The surgical center is very clean and organized. The staff all worked very well with each other and were in sync. Everything flowed like clockwork from check-in to discharge. My procedure was done on time and I wasn’t there very long which is great because I wanted to go home and rest.

Cheryl Sorrill I was recently at Ormond Memorial after going into Afib. I was admitted to the 3rd floor and under went several heart tests. I was so impressed with my nursing and lab staff. Their kindness and empathy was phenomenal!! I have been in numerous hospitals over my 62 years and must say that this team was by far the best. It wasn’t just one particular nurse, the whole team were professional and kind! Their willingness to help in any way was so appreciated! A big shout out to Kat, Sindu, Alyssa, Shelly, Joy, Wilma, Alexis (lab) and I’m sorry I didn’t get some of the others names, but you know who you are. All of you need to be recognized for a job well done. And a big Thank you to Dr. Kazie and the charge nurse who stood up for me in a difficult and upsetting situation. Steve Keller I’m alive today because of of Dr. Quadrat’s knowledge and skill. He is always friendly and supportive and his staff if efficient and helpful. Dr. Quadrat is a good communicator who spends time with patients. It is obvious that he cares about his patients. I had to move out of the Daytona area to Jacksonville and continued to travel to Daytona to see him because of his excellent care. I recently moved to Virginia to be near family, and one consideration in my difficult decision to move farther away was no longer being able to be his patient. I hope I can find a cardiologist half as good as Dr. Quadrat here in Virginia.

Autumn Hale Julian Johnson is probably the most caring and thorough doctor I had found in South Daytona for my husband. Sad that he left the area but after searching online, it looks like he has moved to New Smyrna at 101 Causeway. I saw prior reviews for him and people wondering where he went and after searching that is the location as of Sept 2024. Its very sad that doctors nowadays are rude and are scheduling so many appts in one day that they cant take the time their patients need to discuss their issues. Dr Johnson was very nice, empathetic, and took the time to address all issues.

Elizabeth Price I booked an appointment online at 1am for 9am. I was early and made sure to do the check in. I was taken back early, tested, and spoken to in a timely and professional manner. I was on my way to pick up my prescription by 9:17. This is the quickest urgent care I have ever been to. Ive been with advent health since Oct of last year and havent had a bad experience with them at all. The urgent care visit was fast, the nurse made sure to ask about the tests I wanted to run, and the NP made sure to communicate with me, made sure to switch a prescription because of an allergy, and both told me and gave me written instructions for my prescription. All around just a pleasant experience which was wonderful to not be stressed out when I was feeling so ill. Thank you all so much!

Patsy Muroski-Samul Easy to schedule, short wait time. Dr. Pattik was personable, yet professional. She is patient centered and involves the patient in their treatment plan. She was thorough and allows for questions, comments, etc. Appointment did not feel rushed, addressed concerns, reviewed scripts, lab work, follow up appointments. PA, Ashley, and front end staff are also efficient and pleasant. Yes, I would recommend Dr. Pattick.

Kathy Cole We have been going here for 6 yrs, The best NP they had was Tammy who we miss so very much. Then we had Ashley who was very nice and helpful now she is gone as well. I am waiting to see who they get to replace them. We have had no issues when we did have to see other doctors at any of their locations. It is also great that they have a location opened two days a week late evening hrs for working parents.
