Angela Rogers I had the best experience at this hospital. I was having the worst day possible and I am so thankful to God that I was able to make it through the night. Upon arriving to their ER, they did not allow me the opportunity to sit in the waiting area for 2 seconds before the doctor was their at my side assisting me to the room. The staff was awesome and they made sure that I had everything that I needed and much more. Amanda my nurse on the very night made it very pleasant, family oriented, friendly, professional, relaxing. My nurse tech Joy was great and made my stay peaceful and pleasant. The staff at HCA Florida Ocala Hospital went above and beyond the call of duty to make sure that my stay was pleasant. Plus making sure that I got the property care that I needed for the reason of my admit.

Winifred Cooke Dr. Debra Morris is an exceptional doctor. I have been her patient for many years. She listens carefully, fully explains treatment options, and follows up on your progress. During a recent office visit, she went far beyond what would be expected. I casually mentioned a health issue a member of my family was facing. Even though the family member was not her patient, Dr. Morris immediately offered assistance. When she was unable to reach the person by phone whom she believed could help, she offered to follow up later. Approximately two hours later, I received a call from Dr. Morris. She had paved the way for treatment, and within a week the issue was resolved.

Qydru Harper-Brunson Dr.Hood, Nurse Aira, Nurse Laurel in Shands Hospital ER are very kind and compassionate. I was feeling very left out when it came to my own care but they made sure to inform me on everything. Doctor Hood was my admitting doctor and he is very kind and thorough. Nurse Aira was my admitting nurse and she extremely thoughtful, kind, and fast sometimes too fast and that is not to say in a negative way but it can be overwhelming but other than that shes a great nurse. Nurse Laurel is so kind and very sweet, She made sure to feed me and communicated well with the doctors about me being frustrated due to not being informed. Other than that all the other staff and medical professionals seemed great but I didnt have enough interaction with them to actually tell.

Amber Salinas I delivered my daughter on 6/24 at Shands and I am so grateful that we chose to deliver here. It came highly recommended by friends. I had such a positive birth experience!! My nurses were amazing. The room was spacious and clean. Even the recovery rooms are a good size. My L&D nurse, Chelsea, was a great advocate for me and my birth plan. Everyone was genuinely so kind and attentive. They took great care of me and my baby. I wish I could give more stars. Thank you so much for giving me the best experience! I am eternally grateful.

Damon Erfan Ghetmiri Great medical facility! They have pretty much most of the specialties, primary doctor, labs, and pharmacy! Everyone is super friendly and nice, and they try to accommodate you. The down aide is that it is usually hard to get early appointment times. But, when it’s the day of your appointment, everything is smooth! Really like the MyChart system they use, everything is so organized!
