1 /5 Justin Z: DROPPED ME AS A PATIENT. Been a patient here for maybe approx 10 years or so and i go here a few times a year(as needed). When I called in they couldnt find me in computer and I was just there 1 day ago. They ended up saying you are innactive. And said a letter should of been sent out. Sadly they sent me a letter a few days later canceling me as a patient. The mail postcard date was after I called. They lied.... Also NO Reason or explanation, or anything in the letter. Very disappointing and unprofessional. So one has to question Dr. Wrights integrity and values. Was always a self pay and paid in full at time of visit every time. No questions asked. Sadly enough I have a lot of underlying medical issues and have to find a doctor promptly in the event I get sick, or need my yearly prescriptions, ect. Disappointed majory with the professionalism and they really let me down whole heartedly. Guess they only want "cream of the crop" patients. Or must only want the patients with the best insurances and premiums. Have been nothing but nice, polite and courteous to everyone here. Definitely didnt get the same back. Stay away, find someone more Profesional with a better follow thru. Very honest review.

1 /5 Penelope S Zalaback: EDIT After being a good client, with nothing but raves for these people, something changed. The personal touch is gone....Its a shame, I loved going here. Then they threw me out like garbage after a long, and what I thought a positive relationship. I have been going to Dr. Wright, and his Practitioners at the Health Care Institute of North Florida for three years. I have been through three different insurances through that time, and have NEVER had any problem with being overcharged. In fact, while other Doctors were asking full price until a deduction was met, they always charged me a co-pay price. There have been times when they have told me they charged too much accidentally in a prior visit, and that this visit is free. I have been attended by Dr Wright, Senior on occasions, was a regular of Kyle Wright, and now, Carol, who is the most attentive physician I have ever had. They check weight, blood pressure, temp, and all the necessary things at every single visit. Carol not only helped control the three day migraines I had at least once a month, they did a procedure that CURED them. The staff is friendly and attentive. They have everything there that is needed. An x-ray machine on site. They have a bloodworks lab on site. They have an area sectioned off that I have been taken to be given medications / shots, to ease my migraines, while they monitored me for hours. I cant say enough good things about Dr. Richard Wright, and the good folks of the Health Care Institute where my entire family is well taken care of. Trust is a big thing for me, that doesnt come easy. I absolutely have trust in this facility. I highly recommend them.

1 /5 Jodie Daniels: Don’t bother going here. I waited for an appointment for over 6 weeks. Gave my insurance information to receptionist. Went for my appointment and they would not take my hmo insurance. They could have told me that from the beginning. They also would not accept cash for my appointment I desperately needed! Worst place ever

1 /5 Charles McEntire: After my second visit where the finance people insisted that I pay the full price of the office visit, I called my insurance company. Sure enough, they were billing me AND the insurance agent. The office told me that when insurance payed my bill, they would graciously refund me the 310 dollars I paid for an office visit. I let the insurance company know what was going on, and they called Dr. Wrightss office. The finance person rudely explained that they bill everyone in sight, and work it out in the back end. This isnt even then worst. I went in for a diabetic check up, and when they found out I had a pace maker, they insisted that they do the echo-cardiogram and EKG. When I got to my cardiologist he wanted to do it all over again because Dr. Wrights office hadnt sent the results over. Terrible office, none of the medical staff seem to have any authority. This office seems to be nothing more than an insurance scam posing as a doctors office. I am never going to go back and I suggest that you save yourself the trouble and find ANY OTHER doctor in lake city.

1 /5 Dea Ledbelly: Staff could care less....My mother went in for an ultrasound of an aneurysm. We asked if they would check her blood pressure and they said no, she had to make AN APPOINTMENT TO HAVE HER BLOOD PRESSURE CHECKED! No...what they meant was they could not charge her insurance company to check her blood pressure but they could charge for an additional office visit. WHAT A CROCK! The first thing any respectable doctors office does when you walk in the door is check your blood pressure...its the first thing any DENTIST does! They said they could call ONLY if something was wrong. So we asked about her blood work done a month earlier and they said oh yea your cholesterol is high but they never called and told her that!!!!! They also did not give any advice regarding the high blood pressure. (Like I said, I think they could care less.) I dont trust them and will encourage my mother to seek her medical care elsewhere.
