Lake Butler Hospital

Jackie Lowe Excellent Excellent!! My Mom started getting sick and hospitalized in 2022 and it was hard to navigate. She was put in a rehab after hospitalization in fleming island where she was completely neglected. When I brought her home she threw a PE (blood clot in lung) because she had probably been left in the bed too long. I have to work a lot but checked in on her. I was told by the locals to take her to Lake Butler Hospital...what a major difference in care. I can actually leave and know she is being looked after. They exercise her, bath her, her room is super clean with bird feeder outside and a huge window. Has room to herself. Staff is excellent. It is short term ...she has been there twice. The first time she was so sick I know they saved her life. I couldnt recommend this facility more.

Southern Internal Medicine

Martin Qualls The staff here is amazing. Great care! It is amazing to find such a great team of professionals to care for your medical needs. I moved here in October and I have never had the support and care from a doctors office like I have here. You are not a number you are a patient

HCA Florida Treasure Coast Medical Specialists - Primary Care

Jose Nunya Dr. Ricketts is by far the best Primary Care Physician I have ever had. She really takes the time to examine me and ask me about any and all concerns I may have. She is the most competent of all of the doctors Ive had in Okeechobee and would recommend her to ANYONE! The nurses are also very knowledgeable and competent which means a lot to me. I also use the mobile app to keep up with appointments and medications and even get my lab results without having to walk into the office. Great job team!! Abby is a breath of fresh air and so is Lindsey and the other girls. Thank you so much for all that you have done and will do for me.

Lake City Humane Society

connie callahan I have been a volunteer at Lake City Humane Society for several months now. I am so impressed with all the improvements made there over the past year. They do a great job of caring for the animals and finding them homes. With so many strays being brought in and owner surrenders, it is always an uphill battle. However, the staff there are very caring and do a good job of keeping the community informed/involved. They have also done a great job of improving the Humane Society Thrift store. It is a great organization! I enjoy the time I spend there helping the animals.

Wolfson Childrens Specialty Center - Columbia County

Brittany Robinson I love how quickly the problem is identified and corrections are made. Its kinda hard for my son to pay attention and the activities they do and making him feel comfortable is super effective. Our therapist is so kind. As I walk through the halls some kids cry from panicking but every therapist there kept a smile and try hard to keep interacting with their patients. All positive environment.

Addison Animal Hospital

Michael Davidson My family and I have been taking our dogs and cats to Dr. Addison for over 20 years. At first, it was for convenience as I live less than a mile from Addison Animal Hospital. (I believe they are called Compassion Animal Hospital now, dont quote.me on the exact name, but they answer their phones differently and Ive noticed some new staff and I overheard them mentioning the change.) Dr. Addison and his team have saved more than a few of my dogs and cats from various situations, snake bites, animal attacks, random illnesses, etc. Most recently, we had a two year old cat, Casper, go missing for almost two weeks. He finally returned home but had been bitten by something very large on his haunch/tail area, he was very thin, and I didnt think he was going to make it. We took him to Dr. Addison, and even with a parking lot full of patients, and quite a few walk-ins (which I was as well) yet somehow they still took care of us quite quickly and the entire time the staff was courteous and polite. The woman at the front desk was answering phone calls, checking in patients, coordinating with her techs and the Veterinarian, and the entire time she was so friendly and courteous. I believe her name was "Sam." Simply awesome. She made my Mom feel better after we dropped Casper off and when we came to pick him up that afternoon just from her demeanor, professionalism, empathy, and, compassion. She was like an air traffic controller, a quarterback, and a psychologist in one. The tech we talked to was also super polite and kind. Dr. Addison came out to talk to us before and after, and he was very informative on the after care of my pet and when we went to leave a tech followed up and made sure we understood the instructions. Casper is at home recuperating and is doing well. I could tell a half dozen more stories from when Zoie poked herself on a barbed wire fence, or when Loki got hit by a car, or when the dog attacked Rocko, each and every time Addison was there for me and my pets. I could never thank him enough for all the care he has given our animals. (Deborah and Kim say thank you as well!!!)

Baya Urgent Care

logan Witt I was there at 3:46 and was there until I left myself at 5:28 and they had me waiting in the back for an hour just for me to go out of the room to show I’m still there and then the rude as can be male nurse for this night shift was rude and gave me an attitude telling me the test I went there for takes three days when it has been instant as it should be so it can be treated right away and properly. They were all back there laughing and cutting up with other patients and making wait time longer for everyone else there especially by keeping me back there for over an hour when my test wouldn’t be back for three days as they say and that I’d be called back in 3 days. I told him so you made me wait over an hour for something I can’t even see the results of in the same day and then gives me the worst attitude and was saying well it’s not instant, I’ve never seen someone so unprofessional and downright righteous in some way of keeping me there for so long just for me to get told that’s not how this works with his hands on his hips, raising his eyebrows, being kinda whiny towards me that I was even questioning of why I was left for over an hour when he and the lady who took my vitals could’ve already told me that and not make me wait an hour to not even get treated the same day and then to get a nurse who just wants to go home and mad they have to do their job. He said he could treat me now but if he doesn’t know what I have he’s just giving me medication for anything at that point. It’s URGENTLY done in all urgent cares (except for this one for some reason) and medical facilities. I walked out telling him he’s not gonna talk to me like that and then he tried being nicer and since could just give me whatever he felt would be okay without even knowing what I had which could cause more damage than good.
