LA Fitness

Dalia B Staff is nice enough but 1. Most equipment is rusty and many cardio pieces are often down for service and 2. The free weights are never in order. I realize this is the responsibility of the members but I’ve been to other LA Fitness locations where the members respect this courtesy - it all starts with holding people accountable. I come here because it is the most convenience location but it surely isn’t the best by any stretch of the imagination.

Township Athletic Club

Jack Mahlmann When there to play pickleball during a regularly scheduled date and time. The playing members were fantastic with their help and encouragement as a new player. Courts were in great shape too. I hope to be back soon!

Daniel Woods Very experienced and motivational trainer. The gym is well equipped. I’ve been able to train for six months now without my back problems returning, thanks to Connie’s careful guidance. This was not possible in the past. Highly recommend!

CrossFit CVI - Gym

Ninoshka Tashira Crossfit CVI has been my home away from home. All the coaches are amazing. Here you will learn everything from nutrition to the correct movents from begginer to masters. I am about to be on my second year here and I have lost and maintainned a healthy weight. It has been a hard journey but the coaches are there to help you every step of the way. My advice to people reading this that are interested in crossfit is to not let people talk you out of it. You do not have to know crossfit to start doing it. Crossfit adapts to you. Everyone can do this with a correct diet and the discipline yo be healthy. Coaches will be there to help you achieve your goals and so much more.

Aspire Sports Lab and Aspire CrossFit

Marilyn MC 3/7/25–After taking a day off from working out—because my arms felt like they were about to transform into the Hulk—I knew I needed the rest. Besides, we had to pack up and leave the VRBO rental, which turned out to be not at all what we expected. With all the moving around, I figured my body deserved a break. Once we booked a hotel that allowed dogs, my next mission was finding a gym. A quick Google search led me to Aspire, which was conveniently close by. I booked the class that same morning because, at this point, I wasn’t taking any chances with more unplanned changes. I signed up online, completed the waiver (which, by the way, saves you from signing your life away in person), and paid the drop-in fee. And just like that, my husband, the dog, and I were off—but out of the three of us, I was the only one voluntarily signing up for an hour of self-inflicted torture. The gym itself was great—spacious, with bathrooms and a shower available. Gina, the coach, introduced herself. She was from Long Island, and immediately, there was that unmistakable East Coast vibe between us. Everyone at the gym was friendly, which I’ve learned is a reflection of the coach. After dropping into so many gyms on my travels, I can confidently say that the personality of a gym starts at the top. Gina was not just a great coach—she was an all-around awesome human being. She explained the workout, and the first part? All abs. Fantastic. Exactly what I needed after a day of feeling like a human U-Haul. The core exercises were killer but much needed. I definitely have to get my core strengthened after so many years of lower back pain. I pretty much stopped using my abs, so I knew this workout was going to be brutal—and it was. Then came the EMOM (Every Minute on the Minute) portion of the training, which was another absolute killer. But in a weird way, I loved it. The gym definitely felt familiar to me. I once went to a CrossFit gym that didn’t have that same welcoming feel, and that’s something I’m starting to notice after visiting a few different ones. There’s a personality to a gym—a kind of culture—and I’m beginning to pick up on that vibe every time I drop in somewhere new. Aspire had that sense of community, and it made all the difference. If youre ever in the area and looking for a solid gym, I 100% recommend Aspire.

Club Pilates

Mailin J This Club Pilates Studio is one of the best! There are two large studio rooms, it’s very spacious and it is so clean! I visited for the first time yesterday and was so impressed with the staff and the manager. The class was challenging but the teacher explained every single step so you could feel fully confident in participating in the class. I attended a Saturday class with some of the moms at our school. It was a fabulous experience. 10/10!

yoga hOMe

Diana Gavrilova I have been coming here for 3 years, and love everything about the studio. The instructors are very knowledgeable and happy to assist. Due to my schedule, I have not been able to try every instructor, but have loved my classes with Corbin, Veronica, Erica, Meka, and Kate. The studio has both heated and unheated rooms. The heated room has infrared panels and cushioned flooring. It is always very clean. Highly recommend for beginners and experienced yogis!
