YouFit Gyms Altamonte Springs

hammieworldrox488 Probably one of my favorite gyms I’ve been to. The location is small compared to others. There are plenty of other gyms for the same starting price that offer way more in terms of equipment and extra amenities but I enjoy going to this one. This specific location doesn’t really seem to get very busy which is just a huge plus. I’ve been multiple times at random times and it’s never ever busy. Never more than 20 people in the building. 4:30pm on a weekday it’s not busy and neither is 10am. More of the older crowd which I like bc that means there’s no one there filming their workouts on tripods hogging machines. But I’m used to Smith machines, a sauna (they only have one available in the men’s locker room), a pool, a plethora of upper and lower body machines. This location has none of that. The machines are very basic and outdated but definitely get the job done.

LA Fitness

Mimi I joined the gym specifically for the pool and hot tub. The pool is supposed to be heated but even in this intense summer heat, the pool is freezing. I by no means want a hot pool but I would like to not shiver while using it. Upon complaint they guaranteed me the pool stays at 83 degrees. Many have complained to my knowledge. Nothing is being done. The hot tub, almost every time I go is not working or closed for maintenance. I’ve even been told by others that have been going to this gym longer than I have say that this is a constant problem. Also, the bleech smell in the pool area is incredibly intense. Hopefully this review will be considered and changes made. Side note, i have neck and back issues . So as of now pool exercises and hot tub are the most beneficial to me. I would like to have a better experience.

D1 Training Orlando

Sarah Trowbridge I don’t normally go out of my way to write a review, but I have to about this place! First of all, I got out of work late and called to see if I could either push back my scheduled time or be late. The staff was very informative and helpful about my choices since I booked through ClassPass. Additionally, after choosing to arrive late, the staff made it very easy as a first timer to feel comfortable. Coach Z helped create a flexible routine due to my tardiness. He was also so incredibly supportive and gave me great tips to make sure I was having proper form and wouldn’t hurt myself. This place felt so inclusive for first timers with the perfect balance of support and push to motivate through the challenging work out. And not to mention that the others in the class (one regular and another coach) were so kind and supportive as well. I will definitely be coming back.

Salty AF Pilates

Jessica Hornung If you’re looking for a Pilates studio in Seminole county, Salty AF Pilates is the place! The atmosphere is warm and welcoming and the classes are small to allow for more individual instruction. Kirissa is so kind and she caters each exercise to match the needs of each person individually so there is no pressure to do more than you can handle. The workouts are fun and low impact. I always feel great after a Pilates session with Kirissa! Highly recommend this place!
