5 /5 Mark Marino: I came here with zero knowledge of Hot Yoga, but I saw my coworker becoming more and more fit over the past year due to this so I decided to check it out. Im so glad that I did. This 90 minutes of yoga is a life changer. Im stronger, more flexible and increasing my stamina by the week. For a 54 year old man who hasnt worked out in quite some time, this was definitely a game changer for me. Aside from the heat, the detox, the stretching and sweating out toxins for 90 minutes... one major thing changed. I now watch what I eat and watch my water intake on non-yoga days because I want my body to be in the best condition that it can be for this class. Julie is an excellent teacher that guides you in your postures and coaches you to push on. Julie also has this amazing ability to know what you can do in the moment, if you have the strength to do it (there are 26 poses) and what you are capable of if you continue. Honestly, I never knew that I needed yoga in my life until I attended this class in Sanford. Its a mixture of men and women of various ages and there is zero judgement in this class. If youve never tried hot yoga before, I encourage you to hydrate first, then come and enjoy a class. Julie has yoga mats and towels that you can rent during the class if you dont own one, so no excuses!
