Nicole Angco This review is primarily about the staff on the 6 West floor. They were STELLAR! From the nurses and doctors, to the orderlies, to the housekeeping staff and food and nutrition teams - all of them were extremely kind, friendly and accommodating. My grandmother collapsed and was dealing with compression fractures in her spine and was rushed to the ER. She was admitted for almost two weeks and I visited her every day that she was there. As I am 7 months pregnant, the entire 6West team even went out of their way in ensuring MY comfort as well as my grandmothers. Theyd bring extra pillows, blankets, snacks, etc. They took such good care of my grandmother, we almost didnt want to leave when she was finally cleared for discharge. Id like to give a special shout out to her nurses: Melissa, Valerie, Rav, Lorena, Lalaine - they were so gentle with my grandma and would call her "Mama" and hold her hand at night when she was scared that shed never be able to walk again. I have to say, the ER staff were also extremely friendly and helpful. Overall, I always highly recommend Washington Hospital - their staff is absolutely wonderful.

A A Almost all of their doctors are foreign, being at this hospital feels like being in a 3rd world country (I am from one). They barely talk to or exam the patient and nearly missed diagnosing a leg fracture in my friend until I suggested they x ray her leg. Kaiser doesn’t care about the patient, only about getting people in and out. They also dispense opioids like crazy, I know of a lot people who became addicts because of Kaiser.

amal Elmashni Dr katta has been my doctor for over ten years. He is a rare person he will answer your email or message on my chart within the same day. If you do it on the weekend you will get an answer Monday morning.

Ana Lisa Gomez Took my 13 year old for a physical and the doctor, with no thought or hesitation, told my daughter she is overweight. I do not think telling any teenager they are overweight is okay. Things that could cause self esteem issues/body image issues, should be discussed with the parent away from the child. My daughter is not overweight nor does she look like it, but ever since we left she cant stop repeating what the doctor said. When I told the dr to not say that, she said she didnt have any other words, but she was missing the point; we dont comment on teens looks or body- its obvious.

Theresa DeCarli I did a lot of research prior to my cervical spine surgery in 2015, I was recommended to Dr. Kunwar by my Primary Dr. and I went to schedule an appt that was 2 months out, in the mean time, I met with a few other surgeons and when it came to my appt with Dr. Kunwar, he was the one I felt most confident and comfortable with! He had the best bedside manners, he answered all my questions and concerns, when I asked him if I can have a disk replacement instead of a fusion, he confidently assured me that there should be no problem with the insurance approving it which was a totally different response by other surgeons. Dr. Kunwar was highly recommended to me by my primary Dr as well as others who know him and I understand why it took me so long to get my appointment to see him, it’s because he is the best surgeon! Thank you Dr. Kunwar!

Shan Davis This is a smaller ER and the staff is amazing. Dr Schwimmer and nurse Dani were kind, thorough and warm when my partner was having some really tough and unexplainable symptoms/pain. We were seen promptly and taken seriously. THANK YOU EVERYONE!

Shonta I had a total knee replacement back in March with Dr. Sah. I used to work for Dr. Dearborn and Dr. Sah for years as their surgical coordinator, and with the staff here. There is no better place for joint replacement. You have a large bright private room with a large bathroom with shower. You have a staff who works only with joint replacement patients. You are in a separate building from the hospital so you are with healthy people. Its like a spa in here! And did I say the staff are the kindest most caring people?? People travel from all over the nation for a reason. I loved working with them and now really appreciate the highest level of care they provide for each patient.
