Oh My Nails - Hayward (CA)

1 /5 Adriana Rodriguez: I went in to get my nails done a while ago and the girl who did them said I needed a new set when I asked for a fill. I wanted to know why I needed a new set when I had just gotten a new set the previous time I went. The girl begins to do my fill but starts huffing and puffing when she drills at the previous 3D art. I said ok you know what if you think I need a new set I will take it. The attitude was horrible until that point. She made me feel extremely uncomfortable to even make any requests. These are MY nails. IM PAYING YOU to do them. These are not your nails and this is not your money. If you think my request is stupid or unreasonable thats fine but dont huff and puff like a child over a service youre offering. Thats unprofessional, distasteful, and ghetto. She could have just explained to me (without an attitude) why she couldnt fulfill the service requested. Once my nails were finished I even tipped $15 which people might think Im crazy. But thats about how much I tip for a job well done (the nails came out really good) and this was in exchange for me never going back. I always tip at the very least $10. I will be taking my $10 tips back to Dublin and Oh My Nails in Hayward will never see me again. Next time keep your workers in check. If you see your worker/coworker with an attitude make sure to remind them you are there to provide a service, not lose customers. (The attached photo is not of the actual nails but what I requested)

4 /5 Kathryn Huber: The salon was packed when I arrived, which typically means a positive experience and repeat customers, however, as a walk-in customer with no appointment, I was still seated immediately. All the employees were very pleasant and friendly. The lady who did my nails did an excellent job, she even completely redid one finger because I complained it looked crooked. She went above and beyond to ensure I was satisfied, even though I was being super picky and particular about the shape and length of my nails. I definitely would recommend this salon and will continue to go here in the future. The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is because it was kinda hot in the salon and also a fly kept buzzing around me and I was so annoyed I almost swatted it myself.

1 /5 Sanskruti Desai: I went to this place and booked an appointment prior to coming! I had to wait an hour even though i had an appointment. I wanted different nail person but they assigned me kim and i thought it will be fine. I wanted dipping powder and she kept insisting doing acrylic gel thing. I had to tell her multiple times and she finally agreed. Even after it was done, i told her i don’t like it and she didn’t change. I had to come back and they fixed it.

5 /5 Michelle Gonzalez: I had pedicure and full set walk I’m done yesterday. Nails looked ok, but I have a photo shoot and an interview on Monday so I noticed they weren’t going to cut it when I got my pedicure. They fixed some things but while at home I just knew something else needed to be done. Called up, and the owner said she’d open up for me on Sunday to fix everything. Not only was she incredibly nice, and apologized, making sure I knew no matter what if I’m not happy to please come back but she delicately fixed all my issues quickly. I’m happy to say this is my fav place and I finally feel comfortable to maintain these beauties. Before and after photos posted. Alisa & Cindy are so nice, and do an amazing job!
