Dave Venturini This garage was a lifesaver, late on a Sunday afternoon. Not only did they see us promptly, the price was very reasonable and the service was well explained and fast. We were in a bind and a less honest place easily could have taken advantage, but this garage was very professional and amazing. We were on the way back from a long road trip, 50+ miles from home when our car suddenly started running very rough, the engine light came on flashing and later the traction control warning came on (thats how rough it was running). We called around, in an unfamiliar area, and everyone was closed or busy (not surprising late Sunday afternoon). But, this garage not only agreed to squeeze us in, they took a look as soon as we arrived so we could discuss options. The mechanic determined it was several cylinders misfiring and walked me through the possibilities, worn/damaged spark plugs, clogged injectors, ignition coil problem, compression/seal issue, etc. He took the time to explain the steps to diagnose/fix each possible issue and suggested we start with spark plugs & injectors based on his experience & initial impressions of the most likely cause (but explained it may require more). The price he gave seemed very fair (and based on subsequent research was very reasonable). Within an hour (much quicker than expected) he said the work was done, the car was fixed, we paid and were on our way. He also gave me a heads up on a few things I should have looked at in the future / were almost due, but didnt pressure us at all (just wanted to save me future hassle). Its been almost two weeks and the car has been running absolutely great. Honestly smoother than it was before the road trip, making me realize I probably missed some subtle warning signs, but that is on me. Its never fun to have sudden car trouble, but this garage & mechanic saved our trip, got us home on time, and was very professional and well priced. I cant thank them enough.

Steve S I called GT Imports Automotive after having multiple repairs done at another shop, and feeling like that shop after fixing the issue I brought my vehicle in for, would then cause something else to go wrong on my vehicle, causing me not to trust that repair shop. I called and spoke to Walter, and from the first conversation felt welcomed, he was professional, very helpful, answered any question and concerns I had, and was able to assist me in bringing my vehicle in within a couple days. Once I arrived at the shop, I again was greeted by Walter and other staff at GT Imports, and everyone made me feel like I was in good hands. They performed the repairs within the time frame they advised me of. They kept my car clean throughout the repairs, which is very important to me and nothing else has gone wrong on my car since. Which re assures me they are a mechanic shop I can trust to fix any issues I bring my vehicle in for, without creating new ones. Their professionalism, expertise on fixing the issue I brought my vehicle in for, (which was a several hours repair on completely replacing my A/C in my vehicle). Along with how clean they keep their shop, making my commute to and from their shop, by providing LYFT service because I live within a few miles of their shop. Thank you GT Imports for becoming a mechanic shop I can trust, a shop that everyone makes you feel welcomed and that you are in good hands whenever bringing your vehicle to them. They have now gained a permanent client with me!!!

Fernando Da Silva Not from this are have a problem with my cc, stop and spoke with the mechanic he was very helpful, especially that he have several cars, did check and find out was a connection and was able to fix right the way. Did avoid me going to the dealer.

Sean Schoeppner Took my 1998 Jaguar which had been parked for 15 years under a cover to JoJo. He flushed and replaced all the fluids, belts and hoses. Replaced the fuel filter a couple times after running the car. He treated the car like he was going to be the one driving it. Anita kept me up to date the entire process. He let me know a few things the car needed and made sure the car was ready for smog before I went. FOLLOW UP I returned and had the AC freon flushed and recharged. Quick and easy to do business with!!!

Adrian Villegas Oscar was a really nice person with great prices and very fast to do things but overall one of the best mechanic ive had, i highly recommend him.

William Bray Jose is an honest mechanic and he raised his sons right as well. The whole family here are awesome honest hardworking fellows. This shop is a shop for life as long as its open for business and praying and hoping they keep the shop open for the rest of my lifetime. I always leave satisfied. I trust Jose and his sons with my familys car. I know that if I sent my wife to get something done she would be treated with the same respect I am, and you cant say that about almost any shops these days. They are fair and honest. They take their time, and the job is done right the first time. The labor is not stealership prices, but it aint dirt cheap either it is fair, and thats what you want as good labor isnt cheap, and cheap labor isnt good. When other shops would have lied to me and said yes you definitely need a transmission rebuild Joses shop didnt they were honest and calmed me down as I was super nervous about a potential 3000 dollar rebuild turned out it was a pulley and the fix was fast fair priced and alleviated all my worries. Most non good shops out there nowadays would have told me to fix the transmission anyway. Jose and his family and staff educate you and walk you step by step on what is wrong and how it is going to be fixed and was fixed. I could go on and on but Im going to cut it short and just say get your butt down to Joses if you have car problems you wont be disappointed and most importantly you wont have future headaches down the road they fix it right the first time and thats whats important.

Camille Castaño I had a great experience with this shop! I towed my 2021 Honda Civic Sport here after a battery replacement with AAA caused my car to have starting issues. I was unsure of the exact problem, but David was very kind and quickly discovered the issue. They fixed my battery connection, figured out the electrical problems with the lights on my dash, and even went forward and did an oil change for me. I brought it in with no appointment on a Friday and needed my car for the next day. They prioritized my vehicle, and my car was finished in about 5 hours with a great price. I would definitely recommend this shop to friends, and especially students at UCR! Overall great experience! Thanks David!

R H My radiator was leaking bad on a Saturday night far from home. He was the only shop in the area open on Sunday and was able to somehow get the new radiator and install it that day so I wasn’t stranded. All this and a very fair price. Wish he was closer to me, I’d take my truck there for everything.

Chris I trust Tom with all the mechanic work I need done on my vehicle. I have been coming here for years and havent had any issues. He takes care of my familys other cars too. I definitely recommend this autoshop and their services!
