Steven Marsh Ive been going here for 20 years, and the service has been consistent, easy, and reliable. Car repair is expensive anywhere you go. I help my family and lots of friends with their cars, and I generally buy my own parts when I know whats needed. Bay Auto Center works great with this method, and this gives me the best value and results. This shop isnt fancy, and while there arent loaner cars, its one block away from BART. I really appreciate that I can send my friends to this shop without hesitation.

Eyeworks Studio (eyeworksphoto) 1990 VW Vanagon transmission issues. I went on a Facebook VW specific page asking for a good SF Bay Area transmission repair shop. More than one recommended Broadway Automotive. I took their advice and they were able to fix my transmission on a car where parts are increasingly difficult to find. And the price was fair. It’s not way to diagnose a smog problem with a 25 year old can but Rio did a thorough job and explained each of the steps involved in a way I could understand. Got the van back with problem solved and a clean smog certificate. Good communication. Highly recommend.
