Jessica Sun Been coming here since 2020 for all my tune ups and repairs. I originally picked this shop because their prices were more competitive than other spots, but I ended sticking with them because of how trustworthy and helpful they are. Joe (the current owner), Tyler, and their team have always done great work on my car and have never over charged for labor nor parts. In fact, theyre always trying to help you save money. Tyler has always kindly taken the time to explain different options and their associated costs, but never pressures you to make one choice or the other. As long as Im in Oakland, they will be my trusted mechanics!

CHM This is the BEST shop in the bay area!! Have been here so many times, Kham and his crew have so much knowledge and skill I wouldn’t trust my family driving in a car they didn’t fix! There is no greater feeling than knowing you are in good hands, getting a good deal and not getting ripped off! Zak Tee I have been going to TMS for 5 years and I consistently recommend them. They are consistent, affordable, quick, and courteous. Whenever I bring my car in, I feel comfortable knowing it’s in good hands, and while auto repair isn’t my favorite thing to spend money on, I always know that I’m getting a fair quote at TMS. They have always been happy to answer any questions, and don’t push work that I don’t need, so I really trust them when they tell me that something needs attention. Tony, Ngoc, and the rest of the crew are solid dudes who do great work. As long as I’m in Oakland, these are my car guys.

Clear communications and quoted estimate during appointment scheduling, just the right amount of follow up questions at drop off before starting work, and seamless pickup. This has been our go-to neighborhood shop for the last few years and cars.

Melese Getenet Dessie Ive received service at 3D Auto twice, and both experiences were excellent. The first time, I had an issue with noisy brakes, and they diagnosed and fixed the problem quickly. The second time, I had a flat tire that was also damaged, and they not only replaced the tire and broken sensor but also arranged a tow truck for me when I couldn’t drive the car in — all at a reasonable price. The repair shop is clean, well-organized, and the customer care is excellent. I highly recommend 3D Auto for reliable and reasonably priced car repair.

Steven Marsh Ive been going here for 20 years, and the service has been consistent, easy, and reliable. Car repair is expensive anywhere you go. I help my family and lots of friends with their cars, and I generally buy my own parts when I know whats needed. Bay Auto Center works great with this method, and this gives me the best value and results. This shop isnt fancy, and while there arent loaner cars, its one block away from BART. I really appreciate that I can send my friends to this shop without hesitation.
