Casey S This is my 3rd experience with Liz and Jose’s muffler shop and I will be a lifetime customer. To say that my experience was top notch is an understatement. As a woman, it is especially rare to feel like this leaving any shop that has to do with automobiles. It’s often a place where you feel dismissed or at risk of being taken advantage of. Not here. Reasons why you should choose THIS muffler shop over literally any other in the Bay Area below: 1. Empathy - Liz and Jose treat you like a person. You can tell they value their customers and go above and beyond to help 2. Financials - Literally saved my car from being totaled by insurance. They helped to get a reasonable price for a catalytic converter theft replacement and built a beast of a cage to protect it. If I didn’t go here I would have been in a panic shopping for a new car. 3. Education - They took the time to educate me on warranty and care of my new catalytic converter. Making sure product lasts for their customers shows that you are always put before profit 4. Speed - My car was back to me DAYS before the estimate. That saved me money on rentals to commute to work 5. Extra Mile - Liz and Jose gave me tips on their favorite cars that are not targets to thieves. They didn’t need to do this but they even were looking out for future me with these recommendations This shop is rock solid. I tell everyone at work who may need a cage about them. Despite the unfortunate circumstances that I had to go there, I consider myself very fortunate to have found this shop.

Edgar Ornelas Friendly, effecient, and high quality service. I was able to get a muffler delete in about an hour and a half. Got my car back the same day, and I am very satisified with the finished product. I would highly recommend this business.

Thanks to Luis, he discovered my motor mounts were bad and it was unsafe to drive so I asked him if he could fix it so itll be safe to drive. Really fast and affordable.. Great people! Highly recommended and very up front with you. I love that theyre local and trust worthy with my car. Will be going for future repairs ✨️❤️

Aamir Khan First overall, I do check the star rating to see how is the company like in terms of auto service and customer service. Well, I had a great service and I was referred from a friend to come to this place. Had a quick amazing inspection for salvage vehicle as to get my brake and lights certificate. For my service it took me 20 mins to get my service done and the owner is friendly as well. Will recommend this place!!!

Joseph I scheduled an appointment for a SMOG check, which should be very quick, routine, and straightforward. I arrived there a few minutes early and they all looked at me like they had no idea of any appointment and told me they were waiting on "the guy" whatever that means. SMOG check isnt a specialty service, shouldnt require a special "guy" to do it. Meanwhile every single service bay is occupied so they have me park and wait. Im waiting there for 30 minutes with no one updating me on anything. The whole point of the appointment is to be given service when it is that time. Dont have time to wait around an undetermined amount of time during a workday. Bad experience, wont be returning.

Kao Saephan I just called Savy Autobody for a quote, and I’m honestly shocked at how unprofessional the experience was. As soon as the phone was picked up, all I heard was a rude and dismissive “Yeah!?” No “Hello,” no mention of the business name—nothing that even remotely resembled a proper greeting. Confused, I asked, “Is this Savy Autobody?” and the response I got was a lazy, almost annoyed, “Umm… yeah, who’s this?” At that point, I knew this was not a place I’d ever trust with my car. For a business that relies on customer service and trust, this kind of behavior is a massive red flag. If they can’t even answer the phone with basic courtesy and professionalism, how can anyone expect quality service or honest work in their shop? This felt more like calling someone’s personal cell phone than a legitimate business. First impressions matter—and this one screamed disorganized, careless, and disrespectful. I won’t be giving them my business, and I’d strongly advise others to think twice before doing so either.

Star Carter Leo is a very nice man and make sure you know in detail what is what with the car and what his going to fix. He does really great work and has reasonable prices and the turn around is quick.

Ken Oestreich We needed a quick inspection on a used car (pre-purchase). They took us right away, and delivered back a *very* thorough report. The mechanic took us out to the car and carefully showed us the problem areas in a thoughtful/candid way. Loved the experience!

David Singer DO NOT TRUST BEN’S AUTO! If I could give zero stars, I would. This was a BAD, TERRIBLE, UNBELIEVABLE experience at Ben’s Auto in Richmond, CA. They gave me back my car with a FUEL LEAK and didn’t even tell me! Why would ANY professional auto repair shop hand a customer their car knowing its leaking gasoline and just let them drive off?!? That’s exactly what happened to me. I took my car in for a failed smog test, and they kept it for two days for diagnosis. There was NO fuel leak when I brought it in. Drove home in a car smelling like gas! After picking up my car, I immediately noticed a strong gas smell while driving home. At first, I thought maybe it was just some kind of cleaner they used. But once I got home, the smell was so overpowering that I called Ben’s Auto to ask, “Why does my car smell so much like gas?” Their response? “You have a fuel line leak.” EXCUSE ME?!? NO, I DIDN’T! There was no leak when I dropped my car off! How did they not call me or even mention it when I picked up the car? Instead, they let me drive off in a ticking time bomb. A serious safety hazard! I would have smelled it if my car had a fuel leak before. But even IF it was pre-existing, why wouldn’t they CALL ME before handing me back a car that could have caught fire or exploded?!? Had to stay in a motel to escape the gas smell By the time I got home, my entire garage, house, and clothes reeked of raw gasoline. It was so bad I had to spend the night in a $550 hotel just to avoid getting sick from the fumes. This was beyond negligence – this was life-threatening.

There have been times when the fix was simpler than I thought and (at least one time) he didnt even charge me. I trust the work and the price.

Guy Harel I had a really good experience with this auto shop. I broke my 2011 Honda Accord touring change and brakes check they need to replace my rear ricks did oil change. Communication was good great service highly recommended.
