A. Jeffrey DeHart I cannot recall when I first went to Hangtown Foreign Car Service but it was probably 25 years ago. I consider this business to be as good as it gets for car service and I have not gone to anyone else since day one. I have had them work on at least four (4) cars and will entrust them with all my future cars. Everyone who works there is a professional! If you havent discovered them yet, now is the time to do so! I am proud to claim Hangtown Foreign Car Service as the best and I have no reason to even consider other service providers for my foreign cars!!!

Cristi boat Had a great experience with this place, not sure how they do it but my car looks like I was never in a wreck! I was told that Aaron was the tech guy who did the repair work. I’m super impressed. They had to order a part that was taking a bit longer to receive, so they did communicate that to me. That was in no way the company’s fault but as soon as possible my car was fixed and good as new, and nice and clean as well. I’ve read other reviews and I didn’t have any of those issues with my experience. Ive been in customer service for over 30 years and you just can’t make some people happy no matter what. I will and do recommend placerville crash champions to my family and friends. Extra props to the guys in the shop (especially Aaron) who ACTUALLY DO in my opinion the hardest job ever! Communication is key, so thank you for my beautiful car back!

Marie Franzen Travis and Dane took such great care of me and my car. I needed my brakes checked and while they could have sold me things I didnt need (front and rears, new rotors) they said all I needed was front pads and my rotors could be turned! They are professional, friendly, timely and the whole experience was beyond my expectations. My new shop!

Karen Sanders Crystal and Tylor at Crash Champions RV are the absolute best! Even though my trailer is only 10 yrs old, Forest River no longer makes the replacement part I needed. But Crash Champions RV researched and figured it out and did a great job repairing my trailer. They also worked well with my insurance company. And they helped me out with an unrelated problem on the trailer. Working with them was especially a relief after trying to work with the other nearby company, who after a complete lack of communication ended up refusing to do the job. I will go to Crash Champions RV for all of my trailer needs from here on out! And apparently they do much more than just repair “crash and collision” damage!

John Bronner Big O Tires in Placerville saved me! I was on my way to Tahoe and blew out a tire on my boat trailer. I pulled off the fwy and didnt even realize there was a Big O Tire off my exit. I went in and explained my delima and that I needed help immediately. They took a look the tire which actually came off the rim! Just a piece of the sidewall was left. They immediately started working on replacing the tire and was able to save the rim which they were able to grind out the damaged areas and install a new tire. I was in and out within an hour. Very reasonable pricing too! Thank you Big O Tires for saving the day and getting me safely back on the road to my vacation in Tahoe? Cheers!

Crickett Calvert If I could rate this higher I would. I told John how I drive and what was important to me for new tires. He suggested some tires and I bought them. WOW what a great set I got. I drove from Placerville to Reno the very next day, so happy with the performance. They are quiet and ride very smooth. The most amazing part is the price. I have always paid crazy money for a "performance" tires so I wasnt sure what I was getting into. John listened and did exactly what I wanted and I feel so confident I am excited to go back and have them do a few other mechanical things to make my car the best it can be. Lena Jones Roger with LSP Auto Repair came out quickly. Same day. His rates are very reasonable. Roger is experienced, efficient & very knowledgeable. He diagnosed the problem. My check engine light was on. He Found a fuse was blown and Changed the oil. On a return trip. He went out of his way to answer my many questions on not only another vehicle he was replacing rotors and brakes on, but on other vehicles that needed repairs. Which he also helped me correct. Highly recommended!!!

C Herr Rodger at LSP Mobile Auto is the best. He took care of us at 4:55 on a Sunday of a 3 day weekend. Showed up on Sunday, evaluated the situation, and order the part. Showed up Monday morning and we were on the road by 1:00. If I could give more stars if I could.

He personally painted my hardtop after hearing my situation was a little different than your average fender or bumper. I’m beyond blown away with the service I received and this shop deserves all the business in the world.

Jennifer Jones Since this review this shop has tried to slander me to my employer. They claim I harassed them by making one phone call on 1/15 and asking for their BAR number. I finally received it from my fleet company. Their CA Bureau of Auto Repair License number is ARD00253998. Where do I begin? My fleet vehicle was with them for weeks. They called me toward the end of day to let me know it needed to be picked up. I live over an hour away but I dropped everything to rush out there before they closed. Unfortunately, my vehicle was not repaired correctly. The windshield wiper reservoir was visibly cracked but because it still holds fluid in the bottom they claimed the repair wasnt authorized. The only issue is that you cannot fill it up or fluid will leak out. The alignment wasnt done. They claimed that the damage didnt warrant an alignment. A huge 4 point buck hit my car and you dont think the alignment is off? Thats automotive 101. The most annoying thing is the hood latch sensor. They rigged it so it was fine at pick up. But the minute you open the hood the sensor will not recognize that it has been closed again. This results in constant high pitched beeping while driving. The owner of this establishment accused me of yelling at her because my tone was rightfully frustrated. She claimed to be the middle man. When I asked to speak to the owner she said she is the owner. Then you are not the middle man, you are literally the one saying the repairs are done. They were not! My car had to be taken to the dealership because the Fulmers refused to help me despite this being their responsibility. I was stranded for hours over an hour away from home because of their ineptitude. And when I asked them for their CA Bureau of Automotive Repair license number they refused to give it to me and demanded I get it from Enterprise fleet. This is illegal in the state of CA. You are required to give you BAR license number when asked. This place needs to be shut down if they cant adhere to our state laws. Almost $10k repair and they couldnt get it right. Update; The dealership called and said the alignment needed to be done, the windshield wiper reservoir needs to be replaced and thats 2 hours of labor to remove and replace (could have been done while the car was in pieces) and the hood latch needs to be removed and reinstalled correctly. Do yourself a favor and take your car somewhere else if you can help it. This was an additional $1171 in repairs. Front the original estimate of roughly $7700, to well over $10,000.
