Landform Fitness

Tommy D I’ve been going to this gym for over a year now, and while I had no complaints on day one, I can honestly say that they’ve done nothing less than take steps to improve the gym, every day. From adding new machines & trainers as needed, to providing nutritional coaching and expanding their class offerings, this gym continues to embrace feedback and make the appropriate changes as requested by its members so they can get the best workout. It takes me about 15 minutes to drive here from my place, passing several other gyms along the way, but it’s totally worth it because I know I’m going to the best one. Thanks, Landform - see ya soon!

Broadway Athletic and Swim Club

Myriam Skodock I really like this gym! Its the perfect place and vibe to "destress" after or before a busy workday. There is never an overwhelming number of people there, so you can always get to the machine that you want to use. Triathlon training is perfect here, too, due to the outdoor pool. Generally, I love that I can do all my workouts outside. Everyone is respectful, especially the staff, who are super friendly and welcoming. Cute little community.

Xplicit Fitness

Deb Cruz I can’t believe I haven’t left a review yet, it’s LONG overdue!!! I’ve been an active member at Xplicit for over 3 years. This gym is truly a game changer! It’s the most welcoming, supportive and easy-going gym with no intimidation! The trainers are extremely helpful, knowledgeable and approachable. The variety of workouts are perfect for those who get bored easily! And 40 minutes in/out is very appealing! Aside from feeling stronger and more fit than ever before, I love the community and family vibe the gym exudes! Keep it up Chad and Mike, Xplicit is truly a breath of fresh air!!

AquaVie Fitness + Wellness Club

Stacy G. This was such a wonderful experience! I purchased a travel zoo voucher for me and my boyfriend to get a massage along with access to all the amenities. The gym was very nice. The machines all looked new and it was spotless. I always saw staff members in the locker rooms and everywhere keeping everything clean. The rooftop pool was very relaxing and not crowded. Even though a bit small, it’s still nice to just lounge and also get a delicious bite to eat at a reasonable price. The massage was great and I highly recommend going to the fitness center again as you get access to all the great amenities.

North Park Fitness

Marlon G I was in town for just a few days and needed a solid gym that offers day passes. It wasn’t easy to find but was really happy to have found this gym (20$ for a day pass). Gym is on the smaller side but has everything you need. They have an awesome selection of plate loaded Hammer Strength machines and plenty of squat racks. Staff was incredibly friendly ! I felt very welcome there. Would sign up if I lived in San Diego.

Kinnect Fitness

Natalie Grant I love this studio. Its clean, welcoming, and they have childcare! The classes are great, offering a variety of levels. The instructors are upbeat and guide you through each move so you know exactly which muscles to work. TDM is a great place to workout!

Locomotion Athletics | The Warehouse

Jamie Owens I started at Locomotion Athletics at the end of 2024 and I am beyond happy with the results so far. I came here wanting to move with intention and have been able to do just that. I had been struggling with tendinitis in both my biceps tendons and the coaches have been incredibly attentive. They are always checking my form, offer modifications, and push me just the right amount to keep progressing safely. The programming is smart and well-structured, and I’ve learned so many new skills while getting stronger (especially in the shoulder region). Every member, no matter their fitness level, is treated with respect and encouragement. The community here is something special, and I’m proud to be part of it!

24 Hour Fitness

Teeks This gym has so much potential. Huge space, high ceilings, warehouse feel, 10 lifting platforms. Not a bad crowd, gym etiquette is better than most other gyms Ive been to. Most times weights are reracked in the proper place and people are nice if you ask them about using equipment around them/their platform. Most ppl take their sessions seriously enough, and not diddling around for the most part. Maybe depends on the time of day though. But there needs to be more duplicates of machines to reduce wait times. Like quad extension machines and abductors. Its also extremely dirty and the employees are often talking at the front rather than restocking paper towels, or cleaning the giant dust balls forming around the machines. The cleaning spray bottles are often broken too. Like... management, yall gotta do something.
