A. Richardson Hot Coal Suana can fit 4 people max. People usually tap out around the 5-10 min mark so never crowded.

Sky Dream This FIT has a plethora of new machines so there’s never a wait to workout. The location is always clean and when I go it’s never too crowded. I get the best workouts in here. The view of Petco Park and Gallagher Square from the cardio machines is unbeatable. I look forward to my workouts here because of how nice this gym is.

Jacob Cowen Outstanding gym — truly a cut above the rest. Having trained at everything from big-box chains to smaller boutique gyms, I can confidently say this location stands out in every possible way. From day one, I’ve felt genuinely welcome — not just as a member, but as part of the community. The facilities are spotless, cleaned daily, and clearly cared for. Every machine is well-maintained and functional; in my entire time here, I’ve only seen one machine down, and it was repaired the very next day. The layout is spacious, never overcrowded, and there’s always an alternate piece of equipment available — meaning you can train efficiently without waiting around. The staff are exceptional — consistently friendly, professional, and approachable. There’s always someone ready with a smile or a quick conversation if you’re in the mood, but they’re equally respectful of those focused training sessions. Special shoutout to Richard, who truly elevates the experience here. He’s the definition of what great gym staff should be — welcoming, knowledgeable, and always willing to go the extra mile. Whether it’s answering questions, offering form advice, or spotting a heavy set, Richard’s presence gives this gym its heartbeat. He’s one of those rare people who makes the environment better just by being there. The amenities are top-notch — the fridge is always stocked with fresh drinks and snacks, and the shelves are filled with the supplements and gear you might need in a pinch. All in all, this gym sets the standard. It’s clean, efficient, community-driven, and run by people who care. I honestly can’t recommend it highly enough, and I’ll have a hard time finding anywhere that measures up if I ever have to leave.

Alex Barone This facility is incredible and I’m glad to call it my home gym. I use the weight lifting room, cardio equipment, and indoor/outdoor pool regularly. The strength training equipment is abundant and evenly spaced with plenty of squat racks, machines, and floor space to accommodate varying crowds. The cardio room was just recently updated and all the equipment is so nice to use! I’ve been loving the new treadmills. The indoor pool is often being used for programs. The outdoor pool is the perfect temperature with a great view of the surrounding palms and lounge chairs for a comfortable and luxurious swim experience. I really love and appreciate the Masters Swim program here too. Overall, this is an amazing resource for anyone of any fitness level or interest and my favorite Y location in SD!

Prissy Rose I’ve been going to this gym in East Village for a while now, and it’s truly one of the best out there. Not only is it open 24 hours, which makes it super convenient for any schedule, but the facility is also incredibly clean, which adds to the whole experience. They have a great free weights area and a sauna that you can use as part of your workout — the benefits of training in the heat are amazing for endurance and recovery! They also offer classes that are fantastic for all fitness levels, from beginners like myself to more advanced members. The classes are led by virtual instructors on screen. Plus, the private atmosphere means it’s never overcrowded, so you can really focus. The owner is another highlight — friendly and genuinely attentive to members’ needs, which makes a huge difference. I highly recommend this gym if you’re looking for a great new spot in East Village!

Stephanie Alvarez EoS Fitness is a great place to work out! They have plenty of areas and equipment, so there’s something for everyone. The gym is always clean and well organized, and the staff are kind, friendly, and welcoming. It really feels like a great community to be a part of!

Jenny Lopez I just love this gym! It’s exactly what I needed. Jasmine is so nice and a very good instructor. She is very patient and helps me out in the workouts. I honestly loved everything about this gym as soon as I entered for the first time. It’s not too big, the classes are 1 hour long and they are hardcore! But it’s worth it because that’s how you’re going to see progress. Receptionist Angela is soo sweet! And Jasmine makes me feel very motivated while I’m in there. Thank you for such amazing instructor and receptionist and just in overall location! So beautiful and clean and well organized. Thank you BBB!
