Angie Porco I have been working out with Joe Binda since January, and it has been so great! Joe is the prime example of hard work and dedication in regards to reaching your goals and becoming stronger not only physically but mentally too! He has helped me reach my goals and has also helped me when I was going through a hard time outside of the gym! He not only provides advice in regards to fitness but also provides advice and guidance for how to handle lifes hardships. He is a great trainer, and I highly recommend him!! Thank you, Joe, for being there for me! I appreciate you!!!

Rachel Santino I love the open space. Theres always available equipment for my fitness needs. The staff are friendly. The atmosphere is also chill and doesnt have a competitive feel, which is great for a new member like me. The massage options are a bonus.

Lindsey Keith Personal Training

Sara Busby I’ve been training with Lindsey 3x/week since November 2024. I have seen such a transformation with my body and my mind. My original goal was to lose weight and find motivation and consistency. Her workouts are hard but SO effective and they’re tailored for each client. It isn’t just a generic workout she gives to everyone. The first 30 days are a nutrition reset where you’re eating clean and not drinking alcohol. It was very challenging but after that 30 days, I had already developed great habits so it was easy to turn that into an everyday thing. I owe a lot to Lindsey - for improving my health, toning my body, and giving me confidence. She has the BEST energy and I honestly still look forward to going to each session. She makes everything fun and is so good at motivating. It’s the absolute best investment you can make in yourself! DO IT

Booty by Barbells/The Reset Room - San Diego

Jenny Lopez I just love this gym! It’s exactly what I needed. Jasmine is so nice and a very good instructor. She is very patient and helps me out in the workouts. I honestly loved everything about this gym as soon as I entered for the first time. It’s not too big, the classes are 1 hour long and they are hardcore! But it’s worth it because that’s how you’re going to see progress. Receptionist Angela is soo sweet! And Jasmine makes me feel very motivated while I’m in there. Thank you for such amazing instructor and receptionist and just in overall location! So beautiful and clean and well organized. Thank you BBB!

Hardcore Fitness Downtown San Diego

Filipe Albergoni I can’t say enough good things about this gym and its incredible staff! The trainers are professional, positive, and truly invested in your success. Every class feels organized, supportive, and fun. As someone with ADHD, I find the big screens showing the workouts especially helpful — they make it so much easier to stay focused and confident throughout the session. It’s one of the few gyms where I actually feel seen and supported. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for structure, motivation, and a team that genuinely cares about you!

Krystyna Coria I absolutely love Renegade Fit in North Park! I’ve been coming to this studio since I moved here a year ago now and can honestly say it’s the best studio workout in San Diego. The classes are challenging, fun, and energizing—and the instructors are truly top-notch, and motivating. One of the things I appreciate most is how many class times are offered throughout the day, making it super easy to work around a busy schedule. The variety and consistency keep me coming back week after week. Plus, the monthly membership price is such a great value for the quality you get. Highly recommend Renegade Fit to anyone looking to stay committed to their fitness goals in a fun, community-driven environment!

Boundless - Womens Fitness, Pilates & Retreats

AnnIe IrshAd Michelle is a great and knowledgeable instructor and her studio is impressive, clean and fully equipped. She is very devoted and assesses all aspects of your movements and functionality and tailors a lesson to fit. I absolutely love it from start to finish. Every session with her is worth it. I would highly recommend the ladies to give it a try with Michelle in her studio. No one will be disappointed at all.

Brainstorm Fitness

David Galea I wanted to start personal training for years and ultimately my hesitation came from intimidation. I was intimidated by the fact that I had never lifted weights before, I didn’t feel I was in the best shape and I wasn’t sure of my capabilities. All of that changed when I walked into Brainstorm Fitness. George-Anthony sat with me during my initial consultation, asked me what I wanted to achieve from training, explained how we could make that happen, and together we agreed upon a realistic schedule that I could and would commit to. I walked away from that consultation feeling like, “why did I wait so long to do this?” Brainstorm is the opposite of intimidating, it’s a welcoming place where the trainers encourage me to realize my potential through a variety of guided workouts and movements. I have been training at Brainstorm for about 3 months and it has truly become one of the highlights of my week. I leave each session feeling proud of myself and proud to be part of a great community.

Anytime Fitness

Jt Gerard This place is clean and had more than enough space for what I needed to do. I like the variety of equipment that they had available. The weights are downstairs and spaced out along with an open mat for calisthenics or other activities. Upstairs you’ll find the aerobics machines like stair masters, elliptical, treadmills, and stretching chairs. There are cubbies by the door as well as along the wall upstairs. The restrooms are clean and have showers. I like that it wasn’t crowded but it was also about 6/7 in the morning when I went. Parking is alongside the building or you can park on the street.
