nicola marsh This woman is amazing. She has a level of knowledge about the body that has been accumulated over decades. If you want to get really fit in a healthy safe way - or you have injuries that you want a holistic approach to, Dr. mary brown is the best healer I’ve ever seen.

Bodytone Studio

Aryana z Been to many pilates classes in the past while trying different instructors and have to say no instructor does it better than Moujan at BodyTone. An absolutely phenomenal class I’ve taken twice now with her and she knows how to get your killer workout in while keeping it fun. She’s super attentive on everyone’s form and understanding which I find so important in an instructor. Gorgeous new studio, great vibes and all around 10/10. Thank you BodyTone Studio and Moujan!

Equinox Glendale

Nareh Kazariane I’ve been a member at the Glendale Equinox for over 1 year. Overall, the gym is great, but I really wanted to emphasize how amazing my experience was working with one of the personal trainers, Aryana. She is super knowledgeable, personable, and truly a great trainer. I worked with Aryana for a while, and she helped me a lot with nutrition and lifting, and always emphasizing the importance of sustainable habits and proper form. She tailored a fitness program to my goals and personal preferences and always made adjustments when needed. Not only did she physically challenge me every session, but we were having fun while working hard. With her guidance, I was able to lose 15 pounds, and I’m grateful for the experience I had with her and everything she taught me. I now have more confidence in weight training than I had before. Overall, I rate my experience with Aryana a 10/10. Equinox Glendale is great overall - they have great group fitness classes, equipment, and are very clean, however, the gym can get quite busy in the late afternoon/evenings.

EverFit

Tony A First off, I want to say EverFit is a solid gym — the atmosphere, staff, and overall equipment selection make it a great place to train. That said, I believe there’s an opportunity to take it from good to great by upgrading some of the lower body equipment. The current leg press has definitely seen better days. The locking mechanism feels a bit unstable, which can be a safety concern and impacts overall user experience. Next the Hack Squat Machine. The current setup puts users in an awkward, seated squat position that doesn’t feel natural or effective. It limits proper range of motion and doesnt align well with proper squatting mechanics. A Pendulum Hack Squat would be a major improvement. It’s much more joint-friendly, allows for a natural movement pattern, and provides excellent quad and glute activation. (Something like the Arsenal strength one) Adding a reverse hyper would be a phenomenal addition. It’s one of the best tools for strengthening the posterior chain while also promoting spinal decompression and injury prevention — something both athletes and general gym-goers would benefit from. (Roguehas a good one just not the Portable one) These updates would not only enhance the training experience but also set EverFit apart as a gym that truly supports complete, functional strength training. Thanks for creating a great space to train. I hope you’ll consider these suggestions to make it even better.

Kurt M This place is genuinely welcoming. The vibe is friendly and supportive, which is refreshing. The programming is solid, the equipment is well-maintained, and somehow theyve managed to create a space where people actually seem to enjoy suffering through burpees together. My go-to when Im in LA.

Stanislav Chabanov Really impressed with Olymp. Our 5-year-old can’t wait for judo each week—professional, patient coaches, safe/clean mats, and fun drills that build real balance, focus, and respect. Bonus: age-appropriate sparring for little kids—rare to find.

Kristina Mov Anyone looking for a great personal trainer? Sage at Sage Fitness is the one! Sage is knowledgable and an amazing personal trainer! I had wonderful results of weight loss and great strength training. His hours are very convenient and does everything to work with your schedule. Great Studio and Trainer!!!

DEFCON Athletics

Sebastian Ive been training at DEFCON Athletics for a few months now, and I have to say, its been an incredible experience. Vaz, the head coach, is hands-down one of the most knowledgeable and motivating trainers Ive ever worked with. He really takes the time to understand your fitness goals and tailors workouts to help you achieve them. The gym itself is well-equipped with everything you need for strength, conditioning, and functional training. What really sets DA apart is the community vibe—everyone is super supportive, and Vaz fosters an environment where youre constantly pushing yourself but also having fun. Whether youre looking to get in shape, improve athletic performance, or just need that extra push to stay motivated, Defcon is the place to be. I’ve seen real results and couldn’t be happier with my progress!

High Voltage Fitness

Peter Hosharian I have to say that among the three CrossFit gyms Ive been a part of over the last 11 years, High Voltage is by far the best.  The service, care, professionalism, and camaraderie are second to none and I would highly recommend High Voltage, as I always do, to anyone seeking to improve and enhance their physical and mental conditioning.
