Casey Morris I was referred to Dulce Lopez of Salon Oveja Negra from a stylist in Chicago, IL. I was moving to LA and needed someone I could trust. Ive been going to her ever since. Almost 3 years!! I have thick curls and for most of my life went to places that had no idea how to take care of curls, or give guidance. Especially for men. Dulce completely changed the way I take care of my hair AND my scalp. I have a regiment now. I know what to stay away from product-wise. She is more than a stylist!

Bethany Gilbertson Ive had the honor of knowing Dulce for over a decade and heres what Id like for you to know: 1. She is kind, attentive, and an excellent listener. 2. She REALLY loves learning, and is always educating herself about curls - products that are healthy for us - etc. You can tell immediately when you ask her a question about the science of hydration, for example, how jazzed she is about passing on knowledge to her clients. 3. She cares about her clients, and remembers what youve shared in the chair. I have always had short curly hair of some kind, and shes taken me through a pixie to a bob, and back again many times. I always know Im in good hands. And, knowing her for this long...my hair has changed (postpartum, aging) and she has guided me along the way. Salon highlights: - Beautiful and laid back - Easy parking all around - Close to great shops and coffee - I love the Innersense products she carries and will continue to get to know their line. * She also cuts my husbands hair so its a whole family affair. We are big, big fans of Dulce and have followed her to wherever she is cutting hair. And now, were incredibly proud to see her open up her own salon.

Ive been seeing her for 15 years and each visit is even better. She is big on staying up to date with new haircare and technology. Luna I have been going to Dulce for years. She is great when it comes to color and giving me the look I want everytime. I have gone from blonde to red to brown and has made the transition into every color beautiful. She has taught me over the years how to take care of my hair and helped me keep my hair healthy.

Diana Gonzales Dulce is magic with curls and understands their special needs. My hair always comes out great and I always get great tips on how to improve the health of my scalp and hair. Amy Hawes I LOVE Lock and Crown, specifically my stylist Lauren! I had a terrible experience at a chain salon years ago and then found another salon and stylist who never quite did my hair how I wanted despite having inspiration pictures. Sara, who also works at Janes salon, is very kind and talented as well. Its worth paying a little more for the experience and the great cut! I dont know where I would be with Kymmie. Im glad she finally has a home and that home is blackbyrd. Austin Hall This was my second haircut during Covid so needless to say A LOT of hair was removed from my noggin. I think the initial shock of seeing long hair go to much shorter hair surprised me at first and I wasnt able to truly convey at the time of the cut what I feel now. Pamela gave me my FAVORITE haircut I have ever gotten in my life (Im 30 American standard [not metric] years of age) I just brought in a picture of what I wanted and she made it happen. Easy. Breezy. Daiyaan Epps El I visited Eb Studios and she did not dissappoint! I have been visiting here for the past few years. I get my locs retwisted and the occasional trim for my beard and hairline. The area in pasadena is clean. There are plenty of shops in the nearby area. Lots a food location, and a few specialty drink places. The studio is a sized well, very intimate, and it feels like it was decorated with the client in mind. I totally recommend.

I got a hair cut for my long hair and I was amazed on how it turned out. (I asked for something similar to a jellyfish cut.) After my hair stylist did the cut, he made sure he did several adjustments to my liking, even showing me different ways I can maintain my hair and make it have more volume! She is diligent to do my hair exactly as I’ve asked. She is so lovely and pleasant that the process is always an enjoyable experience with friendly chat. It’s also great that there’s a car park. I highly recommend!

ann kim Curtis at Bravado Salon is awesome. He cut my hair and adjusted my color to one that I really like now. Hes extremely professional and polished since hes been cutting hair for a long time. Highly recommend him and you should definitely go and stop in to see him.
