Daryl Phill I had such a great experience with Blush and Braids Beauty Bar WA location. I do not wear a lot of makeup and wanted to have a more natural glam look. I loved their intro process for requesting an appointment. They asked all the right questions about typical skin care and makeup routine and what your vision is. I feel like it helped me better understand what I wanted lol. My MU artist was Katie and she was so patient and helpful with my trial. My makeup was exactly what I wanted and more! I didn’t have to do any touch ups throughout the afternoon/evening and i definitely cried a couple times lol. I felt so beautiful start to finish! Customer for life right here!

Bella T As a former hairstylist, I’ve had a lot of stylists cut my hair and no one has EVER cut my hair like Jana! I grew up with pin straight hair until my 20s when the front got curly. Jana cut my hair in a way that enhanced and evened out the different textures in my hair and I’m OBSESSED! Not to mention the fact that she wasn’t afraid to do short layers and gave me the shag of my dreams (that every other stylist I talked to said wasn’t possible). The other stylists I’ve met there are also lovely and very talented. It’s one of the few places I’d consider a safe place with genuine people. I could go on about my experience, but I would recommend them to anyone looking for a salon that’s educated on alternative hair.

Stephanie Batungbacal Styling styling styling! Nelly really knows how to take any head of hair...whether its thick, thin, frizzy, curly, or straight and turn it into a masterpiece! Not only did she do my hair for my daughter-in-laws wedding, but she also did the brides hair and many of the bridesmaids. All came out simply beautiful! Her attention to detail, the time she takes, and the patience she has is amazing. Truly a great overall hairdresser.

Michael Maertins I have been going to Diemy for over a year now, I must say she is by far the best hairstylist I have ever been too. If your a guy, totally legit! She is the real deal. Every time I leave I can’t wait to go back because she is such a fun person and great conversationalist. Totally professional, makes you feel amazing. She just moved into a new salon and it is first class all the way. I 100% recommend her as your new stylist.

Carli Kitsch This salon is the best of the best in the area. All of the stylists are always welcoming and the salon atmosphere is inviting and not overwhelming. Ive been a client of Melissas for about 15 years and she is a wonderful individual and has great talent! I always get compliments on my hair from coworkers. If youre in the market for a new stylist, I woule highly recommend anyone at Refinery!

DarkestJEM I needed a place to cut my hair while my daughter was at Youth Group, I found this place on maps, with all positive reviews. So, I rolled the dice. I am happy I did! Sue did a wonderful job with my hair! It looks to healthy and bouncy, she put a little curl in it! I love it!! Thank you Sue, I now have a place to go for my hair!

Viki Lareau I am so happy to have found Theresa at Salon Leo! My hairdresser of 30+ years retired a few years ago, and I have been struggling to replace them and spending a fortune to do so! There is no substitute for experience, especially when it comes to color services. With 15+ years in the game, she not only understand hair, but providing value. My appts have been less than $300 for a beautiful cut, all over color w/ balayage, blow out and tip! I have medium length, fairly thick hair. And being a Redhead - I am very picky about the color. Not many can do Red right. Everyone will be different, but this seems like a great value in todays market and with Theresas expertise! This is really what should determine cost (imo) The last stylist I saw bf Theresa had less than 2 years experience & charged me over $600 for a simple layering cut & highlights! The worst part is I looked practically the same as when I went in! I mistakenly trusted the long time salon (actually just around the corner) for being well known in Tacoma. I have seen Theresa 3 times now with next appt already on the books! FYI - she also owns her own salon in Seattle too! Being a salon owner, she clearly understands the importance of customer service & retention - knowing we are her walking business card. (the previous salon never inquired or reached out to me after) Sorry this is long, but if youve ever lost your long time Stylist, finally finding another is such a blessing and Im very grateful!
