J Johnson The staff was very welcoming immediately, offering a variety of delicious drinks. My stylist, Lindsey, is superb; she was able to bring out the natural curl and lift in my hair (I went from long hair to quite short, at least10 inches lopped off, and I love it!), and shes so lovely to talk to, really knows her craft. Also, my hair was long enough to be donated to make wigs for pediatric cancer patients. I booked for a Friday evening was out after about one hour. I highly recommend this salon.

Lorelyn Mayr Rachel did a full haircut for me today- from long to just above my shoulders and I love it. I’d never been to this salon before so I knew it was a big ask! She was professional, personable, and really listened to what I wanted. The salon is really nice, has a great atmosphere and plenty of parking. I’ll definitely go back. I highly recommend Rachel and the salon.

Matthew Clark Absolutely phenomenal haircut! I’ve been to several stylists in the area with similar pricing, and none have matched the professionalism and quality of service I received here. Amanda, the owner, did an incredible job—precise, stylish, and exactly what I wanted. Beyond that, her salon is absolutely charming, equipped with top-tier tools that not only make the stylists’ jobs easier but also elevate the entire experience. You can tell she puts care into every detail, from the ambiance to the craftsmanship. If you’re looking for a place that truly delivers, this is it. 10/10, highly recommend!

Dawn Hohlt 2-5-25 A Day to Remember! My first time at Wendy Honeywell Salon. I was stunned that she knew what my original hair color was despite gray, and faded blonde and red ! She knew EXACTLY what I needed, and I TRUSTED her next move! I have a LOT of hair, and she was patient and doing her utmost Best for hours! Once the foils removed, my hair color was so STUNNING, I was speechless!! Wendy is a TRUE Hair Magician like the sign says! I would travel a hundred miles if need be to repeat this WENDerful experience !

Anna C Over the years I have found it very hard to find the stylist that can blend the highlights I want in my hair with such exactness. It matches my skin tone and I dont have to come in so often for maintenance since the root area blends well with the remainder of the highlights. Lisa Kelly is skilled at her profession and was incredibly courteous. I wouldnt hesitate too long to book with her because I can see her being one of those stylist thats booked out for weeks.

Vanessa C Trena is so amazing at what she does. I’m so happy I found her! She is not only very knowledgeable but her attention to detail shows that she really cares to take her time with her clients. I came to her earlier this summer after looking for a new stylist. She was very honest on what to expect and how we can achieve it. Not only did she customize my color but also explained each step during the process. My hair is naturally very thick and I have a lot of it. During the haircut she explained the trick to layering my hair due to these factors and was able to blend my previous layers which weren’t done well by a previous stylist. For my first visit she was able to take out all of the brassy color and lighten it. She customized the toner color and it came out beautiful. This most recent visit she was able to implement some bleaching on the ends to help tackle the slight brassy color from what I had left (from previous coloring with someone else). That along with a partial balayage has revived my hair :) Not only is she great at her work but her personality is amazing as well. The hours we spent during my appointment flew by. I would definitely recommend her as a stylist, you will not regret!

Viki Lareau I am so happy to have found Theresa at Salon Leo! My hairdresser of 30+ years retired a few years ago, and I have been struggling to replace them and spending a fortune to do so! There is no substitute for experience, especially when it comes to color services. With 15+ years in the game, she not only understand hair, but providing value. My appts have been less than $300 for a beautiful cut, all over color w/ balayage, blow out and tip! I have medium length, fairly thick hair. And being a Redhead - I am very picky about the color. Not many can do Red right. Everyone will be different, but this seems like a great value in todays market and with Theresas expertise! This is really what should determine cost (imo) The last stylist I saw bf Theresa had less than 2 years experience & charged me over $600 for a simple layering cut & highlights! The worst part is I looked practically the same as when I went in! I mistakenly trusted the long time salon (actually just around the corner) for being well known in Tacoma. I have seen Theresa 3 times now with next appt already on the books! FYI - she also owns her own salon in Seattle too! Being a salon owner, she clearly understands the importance of customer service & retention - knowing we are her walking business card. (the previous salon never inquired or reached out to me after) Sorry this is long, but if youve ever lost your long time Stylist, finally finding another is such a blessing and Im very grateful!
