4 /5 R D: Perfect pit stop on a sunny day. Few good spots nearby for food. Limited parking near the waterbody. But good place for kids to have fun in the water. Lots of trees for shade and few walking trails along the stream. Even can sit on the grass area near the water. Perfect picnic spot for families.
4 /5 Jawad Arain: You can view this small waterfall from across the river sitting on the other side. Nice view.
Michelle Andrews My son and I had a fantastic day! The staff were super friendly and helpful, especially because I did not want to inhook the fish.
Only thing was there was no ice available to take the fish home and the canteen was not open to get cold drinks on a hot day. Otherwise it was a great day out!
john masci A beautiful area with a creek and caves. Caves are best left to the experts or organised tours. Thoroughly recommend to get back in touch with nature.
Alexander Campbell A fantastic place to see and learn about times gone by. A great range of exhibits and equipment. Volunteer staff very friendly and informative. A good selection of reasonably priced historical books also available. Toilets very clean.
Vanessa Michelis This is a fabulous walk in nature with the benefit of an easy trail. Lovely views, fresh air and tranquillity but also close to the beautiful township of Warburton. Currently one of the old bridges between Millgrove and Warburton is closed and the detour does require walking down quite a few steps and up but provides you with a unique view of the amazing bridge structure that you wouldnt notice otherwise. Highly recommend.
Raj M It is called a swing bridge for a reason. It swings!
But before you avoid walking on it, know that it does not swing like a rope bridge, instead you feel slight movement while walking on it.
The bridge connects both sides of Yarra and or is a good place for taking some nice photos for your collection.
Luna Moha A great spot for a hike! Though steep and challenging, it’s manageable if you have some experience with hiking on inclines. The trail is 3.2 km round trip, and your pace will determine how quickly you complete it. There aren’t many benches along the way, but you can always find a comfy rock to rest on if needed. highly recommend!
Peter Lowden Great place to go and explore. We went here during the winter when it was snow season. The family had a great time tobogganing and playing in the snow.
