5 /5 Alexander Campbell: A fantastic place to see and learn about times gone by. A great range of exhibits and equipment. Volunteer staff very friendly and informative. A good selection of reasonably priced historical books also available. Toilets very clean.
4 /5 Garry Allen: Nice to spend an hour or two.
5 /5 Trixie Cooper: Crank up was a very interesting day,my grandkids loved it and found it very interesting
5 /5 Jeremy Trott: Great museum and awesome volunteers. I spotted this place while passing through Yarra Junction and stopped to take a peek through the fence, as it was past opening hours. The volunteers were just closing up but they opened the gates again and gave me and my partner a guided tour of the premises. The passion they have for keeping this history alive really shines through. Thank you Ross.
5 /5 Peter Gribben: First class exhibits based on local area. Great guide in Ross. Highly recommended
Michelle Andrews My son and I had a fantastic day! The staff were super friendly and helpful, especially because I did not want to inhook the fish.
Only thing was there was no ice available to take the fish home and the canteen was not open to get cold drinks on a hot day. Otherwise it was a great day out!
Luna Moha A great spot for a hike! Though steep and challenging, it’s manageable if you have some experience with hiking on inclines. The trail is 3.2 km round trip, and your pace will determine how quickly you complete it. There aren’t many benches along the way, but you can always find a comfy rock to rest on if needed. highly recommend!
Raj M It is called a swing bridge for a reason. It swings!
But before you avoid walking on it, know that it does not swing like a rope bridge, instead you feel slight movement while walking on it.
The bridge connects both sides of Yarra and or is a good place for taking some nice photos for your collection.
wu o (shobon dama) cool walk (literally, probably due to moisture content)
one picnic table at the carpark/map board(?)
one bench 500m to peak roughly, and one bench to sit at the falls itself (facing towards the falls, nice touch)
NO PUBLIC TOILETS according to the sign the closest one is at Warburton Township? i cant remember
steep incline for the physically disinclined but overall pleasant nature walk otherwise
Peter Lowden Great place to go and explore. We went here during the winter when it was snow season. The family had a great time tobogganing and playing in the snow.
