Maritime Cove Community Park Playground - Port Melbourne

Andres del Rio Hectic playground. Would be in my top 5. Big. All sand based. Lots of buckets on chains for sand play. Water pump see saw. Plenty of bigger climbing. Ages 2 to 10. Not fenced off. Some shade

Centenary Reserve - Port Melbourne

Mary Handy little enclosed dog park at one end and kids playground at the opposite end. Lush green grass and decent running/ ball throwing space for our doggo, who told me to give it the maximum stars.

Pluto - Solar System Trail - Port Melbourne

Michael Kondro Running or walking from the sun to Pluto is quite the feat. These statues are pretty rewarding and the walk along the beach is beautiful.

New Beach -

Alejandro Vizcaino Cruz I loved this beach. I was expecting it to be very busy as it was a hot day. To my surprise, just few beach goers around. Bring your snacks, a frisbee and enjoy the quietness of this picturesque beach. The Princes Pier is also next to the beach, amazing views and gorgeous surface for rollerblading.

Webb Trail (no dogs) -

Teana K Its a nice walk along here to get to the lookout, there are some little fishing spots, bins and seating along the way. Info boards are dotted along the trail as you walk along the path. People like to jog up the trail and back again, there are dog walkers and tourists just out and about. There is a bit of a stagnant seaweed stench at the beginning of the walk. Amazing views of Port Phillip Bay along the way as well.
