Margaret Gardner I was very pleased with my recent experience with Texas Cty UC. From the nurse, Sandra, who first saw me to the NP, Alicia Barren, the staff showed so much care and concern. Paid close attention to me when I was explaining my symptoms and asked lots of questions to really try to narrow things down. Alicia was very clear on what they thought was going on, what they were doing/prescribing and what I should look for that might require a trip to the ER over the next few days. She took the time to call me the next day to check on me and see how I was feeling. And she went over again what I should be looking for that might require a trip to the ER. Really great care.

Jonathan Byrd I was discharged from Sacred oaks today . After my stay I am in dismay by all the negative reviews. I have nothing but good things to say about this facility. I came in with severe debilitating anxiety and depression. My stay was 7 days . I was treated like family from the second I entered the facility, even being in extreme distress upon arrival. The facility and grounds are kept immaculately clean and maintained. The food is very good. This is a place to come to get stabilized and leveled out. They set you up with doctors and therapists to help you succeed upon discharge. It is not a permanent rehabilitation center . There are 4-5 group therapy sessions daily which really help on the road to recovery. The nurses were all very helpful and patient. I want to give a big thank you to all the techs especially Freddie who was the first person I met and helped me remain calm during Intake. Josh , Antoine , Tony , Cleo , and the all of the techs care about each and every patients well-being. They went above and beyond to provide a comfortable stay during a time of distress . I left the facility feeling much better and more positive . Thank you everyone at Sacred Oaks !

Carol Allegretto My 78 year old mother was having chest pain and thought she might be having a heart attack, they checked her blood pressure and told her she was fine. My mother still didn’t feel well and asked to be taken to the ER. They told her she didn’t need to go and told her to sign a refusal of service form so they could leave. My mother told them she wasn’t refusing and wanted to be taken to ER. They bullied her into signing it. My brother had to drive 45 minutes to take her in. Tonight she called me (I’m in NC) with serious symptoms and in pain waiting on my brother to take her to ER (he lives 45 minutes away) I asked her to call 911 so they can send an ambulance but she has lost trust in them and believes they will provide transportation services to the ER. This is beyond sad. Shame on you!

B D Big shout out to Leslie Garner! She is a credit to the VA system. President Trump would be proud of her professional service in my opinion.

Adela Medrano I’m receiving physical therapy from Alex and Liz .super professionals and nice people. Thanks to them I’m been feeling so much better and I can use my arm .

Chris Hotze Awesome course. The Fairways and Greens were is beautiful condition. The staff was friendly, and very welcoming. A wonderful experience.

Sadie Gonzalez Good place to go visit the Dr specially if you have low income , Mrs Angela on front desk is a very caring person Im grateful

Sandra Mueller Dr piazza is the best doctor I’ve seen since 2025 when I was in hospital. He takes the time to answer ALL my questions and shares results with me. He also has a fantastic sense of humor. I understand the practice is getting another doc in May. He is much needed and very welcome.

Gloria Williams My entire experience for my procedure at the Utmb league City Campus Surgery was great! The staff upon arrival were friendly the nurses thereafter were amazingly professional especially my nurse whom started my IV was excellent i didnt feel a thing. She was a happy friendly nurse and made me feel comfortable.. My Doctor , Anesthesiologist ,Nurse were awesome throughout even at the surgery area along with the operation staff explaining the procedure. My doctor was wonderful . He showed compassion bc i was nervous and I knew then, I would be in great care and safe. All went well , thanks to the professional friendly staff. The University of Texas Medical Branch Hospitals at any locations have the best of the best professional Doctors, Nurses and dedicated Employees.

Alois Schmoller Dr. Lori Antman likely saved my life. She made me get a basic blood test when the adjusting didnt work as well as she thought. Found some stuff, scheduled me for an MRI, which led to real cause of pain. Then she helped me get into MdAnderson for treatment. And no, I dont have insurance and she didnt make a lot of money on me. She is just a caring person that pays attention to her patients. The only doctor I will ever go to, and her staff is just as great, never had a bad visit.
