5 /5 Jessica H: I have been bringing my Volkswagen GTI here for years. They are a family run honest company. Theyve also sent me home when there was not actually something wrong with my car, or the problem could be solved on my own. The owner said he wont replace a part that isnt broken. I really appreciate them, theyre a gem in Plano. Thank you for keeping my girl running smoothly! I could not go into the Volkswagen dealer in Richardson or McKinney without them finding $1000 minimum of repairs on my car. The red flag, their sales department was also really desperate to buy my car every time. Its a manual and a niche of people still really want those. If it was that "broken", why would they want it so badly? An oil leak that they quoted me $960 to repair, once I cleaned my engine bay, magically disappeared, and hasnt come back for 6 years now. What really happened was whoever changed my oil last spilled some oil down the side of my engine, and the dealership thought that was an oil leak. Nope, no more greedy dealerships. So overjoyed that I found a local business to support like Tommys. I have also recommended them to all my coworkers who drive European cars.

I’ve been to so many places over the years where I felt manipulated or upsold, sensing the desperation to make money and finding “extra issues” that didn’t sit right with me. The team at Tommy’s European was a completely different experience. From the moment I arrived, their energy was calm, genuine, and trustworthy—every single one of them. I came in anxious, bracing for stress, but left feeling relieved and respected. Thank you for restoring my trust in auto shops. You’ve gained a loyal customer, and I’ll definitely be back!

5 /5 kraig ruppman: Tommy’s is the best place to go for all European car repairs! I am posting for the second time because I am so pleased with these people! My daughter’s BMW M235i just came out of a major transmission repair a few months ago and she wanted to drive it to Louisiana to see a friend. I did not feel comfortable with it but she insisted she would be ok. 2 hours into the drive I got the call I was worried about, she was broken down on the highway. She was emotional about it and nervous to be stuck and it was a 100 degrees out. I felt helpless but I jumped on the phone to Mick at Tommy’s and he asked me to describe what the car was doing and what message she was getting. I told him exactly what she was doing when it happened and what she was experiencing. He said, sounds like the charge pipe off the turbos blew off. He said don’t worry I have a tow truck driver he trusts to get her but only does local. Mick called him and asked for a favor and he took off to get her. 2 hours later the car was loaded and back to Tommy’s. Tow truck driver was very professional and kept her posted on his ETA to her and his ETA dropping it off. He took a video of locking it and dropping the keys in the night drop. Mick was on the phone with me at 6:45am the next morning to let me know the car was safe and they were jumping right on it. 11am I was driving out of Tommy’s with the car and it was exactly what Mick said, charge pipe blew off. Car is running great again! I can’t thank Mick and all the guys at Tommy’s enough! Don’t hesitate to take your car there! Great service and great prices. Mick just reached out yesterday to follow up that the car is doing ok! Who does that anymore?! Feels like part of a family with them! Very trusted place for us to drop our cars! Never going to the dealer again! Thank you Mick and thank you Tommy’s!!!

5 /5 Jeff Mize: Second time to have my 2008 3 Series BMW in to Tommy’s. This time was to swap out the fuel sending unit. Repair was quick and well done. Highly recommend!
