Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Denton

Don Doyle My daughter gave birth here and it was a fantastic experience! Not sure about the other areas but Dr McDonald, Megan at night and another nurse in when we first got on the floor. All of them were amazing! We have 9 kids and this was the best hospital we have ever used for delivery. Update: had to go the ER for my self with a bad cut on my finger from a table saw. Everyone from beginning to end was nothing but professional and gave 5 star service!!!! Jed and Austin were amazing!!! Seriously, I do not see how others have had bad experiences. The 2 interactions i have had with this hospital have been top tier!!

Surepoint Emergency Center - Denton

Alexis Vawter Took my boyfriend here when he crashed his dirtbike. Everyone here was great - April at the front desk was very kind, our nurse Brandy was helpful and funny, and Dr. Khan told entertaining stories the entire time he was stitching up my bf’s face. Awesome team! Everything was fast and smooth. 10/10 experience :)

The Family Doctors

Kenneth I have been coming here since 1998. After a several reputable nurses and staff left a few years back, it went downhill. They used to have very friendly and very knowledgeable staff. I had Dr. Gorman for 22.5 years. I developed a relationship with him to the point he would listen to my advice and let me be a part of my treatment. Every good doctor and PA I have known here are gone. I used to have relationships with almost every nurse and staff on a first name basis. The atmosphere is just not the same!

Medical City Denton

Amanda Bacchetta I was there Saturday with my 11 year old daughter and everyone was kind, supportive and spoke to her like an adult. Everyone walked her through everything they were doing and why. I was very pleased with how well everyone communicated and attended to her!!!! This hospital is definitely our new number 1 for emergencies. I never judge an ER by their front desk because those poor people see and hear all kinds of crazy, but the front desk at this ER was very nice and attentive and supportive to the families that followed an ambulance. They also continuously apologized for how long we were there but it’s ER and that should be expected because they have to triage and sometimes everyone comes at once.

Atrium Medical Center

Kori Byrd Words cannot express how pleased we were with the care and support of our dear family member. Everyone, including the nurses, therapists, custodial staff, and even the kitchen staff were wonderful. The quality of care given was exceptional. The Atrium staff not only cared for our loved one, but also included the family in all aspects of her care. The facility was always clean and maintained and very welcoming. We are so grateful that everyone from the Atrium were apart of our loved ones recovery.

TotalCare Emergency Room Denton ER

Katy Magee I visited this ER in January 2025 and it was easily the best experience Ive had when it comes to urgent/emergency care. The facilities were clean. The receptionist was extremely kind and attentive. The nurses and doctors were patient, gentle, and communicated information very well. I was provided with a folder containing all details of my visits and the doctors recommendations that I was able to give to a specialist. This proved to be very helpful. Wait time was no longer than 5 minutes. I highly recommend this ER.

First Care Medical Center

Carmelite Williams In the last 6 months, I have visited several doctors and was sorely disappointed. I am pleasantly please with the visit I had today. The office staff was warm and inviting. The doctor was patient and helpful. I pray nothing changes between now and my next visit. Update...things changed! The first visit was amazing. And i am very disappointed at the chaos that happened over the last few weeks. This office is unprofessional and they lie to you over and over and over again. I presented paperwork for them to complete and they lied to me so many times, I had to report them to the insurance company. They will try to do unnecessary testing on you to milk your insurance. The turnover of staff is crazy, and that’s something the insurance rep told me. That was the reason they gave for lying to me about the paperwork they can’t seem to locate. They run a very chaotic office. While waiting for them to find some paperwork I had given them, I was able to see other people’s medical records that lay open on the desk. Stay away from this place at least until they get some organization.

Medical Associates of Denton

Tonya Chapman I have been going to this practice for 22 + years. I have always had great experiences, from the front office to the office manager to the supervisor to the nurses to the NPS to the Doctors. The front office always greets patients with a smile. They get you checked in quickly and any paperwork I need them to print out is done by the end of my visit. The office manager always makes sure to say hi and ask me how I am doing. The supervisor always makes sure she says hi and asks if I have any issues. The nurses are always kind and courteous and very compassionate. They answer your questions and if they don’t know the answer they will find it out. The NP’S and Doctors are very competent and knowledgeable. They explain things so the patients understand. They talk to you like you are a person not a number. The whole office really cares about their patients and their health. The make me feel like I am family.

University Behavioral Health of Denton

Teboni Washington I wish I could say our experience at UBH was positive, but unfortunately, it was anything but. As a parent, I put my trust in this facility to provide proper care for my child, but what happened instead was shocking and deeply disappointing. Despite my clear instructions, my child was given medication I never approved—on top of being overmedicated with a dangerously high dosage. The lack of oversight and disregard for my consent was not only negligent but could have had serious, even life-threatening consequences. What’s worse, when I raised concerns about this, there was little to no follow-up. No real accountability, no genuine effort to make things right—just avoidance and empty reassurances. Head Nuse Angela "Angie " never kept her word and followed up and made a bold statement she would handle the matter like it was her child. Paris Hood never followed up with Rct information or any after care for that matter so many pleasant voices filled with little to know action. Mental health care should be about healing, not harm. No family should have to go through the fear and frustration we experienced here. I can only hope this review encourages other parents to ask tough questions and demand transparency before trusting this facility with their loved ones. Light, Love and Endurance to the parents that are not allowing facilities nor "the system" to fail their child/children
