Emilie Shadden Friendly and knowledgeable staff. They are a self service station but with my disability, they will help me in pumping gas. Hallettsville is lucky to have that type of service offered.

Debra Rice I’m from Houston and had been told a sound I was hearing was alternator bearings. I had been quoted by a couple of places in Houston but was headed to Hallettsville for holidays. Called Hammer Automotive, they look at car, told me what it was, put in the part I had and I was complete in less than 3 hours. Also, the amount was far less than I had been quoted in Houston and the gentleman was super nice. Thank you!

Justine White Tommy rescued us when our radiator went out. We were on a trip to the beach. Not only was Tommy professional and courteous, he was incredibly kind and understanding. He fixed my car, and his prices are completely reasonable. You don’t need to worry about being gouged. Tommy is fair and a great mechanic. He’s also a great all around person. We’re going to stop in to say hi next time we’re on vacation! Definitely recommend!

Wendy Jansky-Serra Mitch (my apologies if Im incorrect in my name recall) went above and beyond to help. I was in town for business and ended up with what I was assuming was a dead auxiliary battery in my hybrid. Thankfully I had a family member that could drive me to the store. I showed up there about 15 minutes before closing time and explained the issue. They did some troubleshooting and found the battery I likely needed at the store in Shiner. I went Shiner to grab the battery and met Mitch in the Kountry Bakery parking lot, where my car was inoperable. He took out my old battery, installed the new one and I was up and running! I love small town hospitality because that could have been a very expensive towing bill to get my car back to Austin had they not been so willing to help me find a resolution at the end of a days work! In a world where so many people just wont do that little extra bit that might make a huge difference in someones day, this was an amazing example of being a great human! I cant thank yall enough!
