D I took my Mercedes 2010 G wagon there a few times and most recently for a AC repair. They did a great job. Customer service was A+. The honestly/genuine personalities of everyone here is an A+++. So thankful for them and glad I found a shop I can trust with my G wagon.

Matthew Warner Called at 9AM on a Saturday, brought the car for total brake pad + rotor replacement, service was done by 12:30PM. Fast, easy, fairly priced ($300 for service, $460 for parts + supplies), Oscar is knowledgeable and very friendly. They did have two pit bulls just kind of roaming the store but they were friendly too. The service came with a 1 year warranty, all around great experience!

Steve Takata This has been my go to Mechanic for at least 15 years. This looks like a mess with cars and various states of repair scattered about the yard, but don’t let the appearances of this shop fool you. They have always been honest, fast, and reasonable. There have been plenty of times Where I’ve gone in to ask them about something small, and they have just fixed it and when I asked them how much I owed them they just kind of wave me away and don’t charge me anything. There’s no place else in Austin that I would take my car too, unless there was some sort of specialty repair on a car that they did not work on.

Robert Simpson I recently had A-Tex do some work on my 1957 Thunderbird and it was a great experience. They replaced the wheel bearings, adjusted the shift linkage, replaced the transmission lower gasket to stop a leak and installed a temp sensor. They were very quick with these repairs and JR communicated often. Great classic car shop in North Austin.

I had the best experience with Nas, he was truly fair and didnt make up extra problems when diagnosing the issue with my car, when I first went to them I was having steering issues and they fixed it temporarily for free and suggested to wait and see if its a real problem or not, it got bad again after 2 months , and this nas came up with a plan and he was really reasonable with the price and real quick with the repair. Im going to recommend everybody to go here when they are facing issues with their car. They are really wonderful and Im glad I found a reliable person

Raja Tamma Ive been using Maxs shop for many years to get my cars serviced and repaired. Very honest, excellent and affordable mechanic. Few shops will match the value he provides. The shop is cluttered and there is no receptionist to greet or answer the phone and its true that calls go unanswered as another reviewer said. If you drive to the shop hoping to catch his ear, he might tersely tell you to come another day. He doesnt mean to be curt but the man doesnt have time to shake your hand, exchange greetings, send you to a service advisor for an appointment and then charge an arm and a leg. Dont expect any frills if you go to him. This is the first time I am leaving a review for Max and hes been my first choice for more than a decade. If hes not able to do whats needed, he will tell you upfront. No gimmicks. Its hard to find a mechanic as honest as Max.

Rick Snider Most of the time, getting your car repaired is an onerous task. Finding a real mechanic is difficult as most shops today focus on parts replacement rather than real diagnosis. And who among us has not felt they were taken advantage of when the bill arrives? Yup, unless youre mechanically inclined, it can be tough to know if the repairs are legitimate. After getting suspiciously high repair estimate from my friendly local dealer (whose name I wont mention to protect the guilty), I looked for a second opinion and found All Tune on Yelp. They were busy but were able to get me into the shop a week later. Well, it took all of 15 minutes to determine that I didnt need any of the recommended repairs. All Tune took the time to show me the parts in question and treated me respectfully. They also looked up my service schedule and let me know when I would really need to perform maintenance. Even more, they didnt charge me for their time. Ill be bringing my car back to All Tune when I need service. These guys are the real deal, the bomb. Thank you All Tune! Highly highly recommended.

Matthew Lipstein Took my Honda Pilot to Capital City from the recommendation of two friends who both bring their cars there. Had a great experience from start to finish! We were doing a routine timing belt kit replacement. Getting the initial info and quote was clear and direct, and handled in one phone call. The price was reasonable, not rock bottom, but it feels like this business has integrity in doing good work and that is part of what you pay for. Thats value in itself to me. They finished the car on time and for the price we agreed upon - no surprises. Will definitely bring our cars back!
