Jenny ODell Today, I want to reflect on my big day!! I had surgery to fix my fracture/dislocation, which is known as a Lisfranc injury, and I can honestly say it was an experience that exceeded all expectations. I had the best care at Texas Health Hospital in Frisco TX, and it was so refreshing to be in a place where patient care is truly prioritized. From the moment I arrived, the experience was top-notch. The personal touches, like my husband having his own concierge, really made a difference and added a sense of calm during an otherwise stressful time. Normally, I’m on the other side of healthcare, providing care for my own patients. I’ve worked in the clinical & surgical setting before, and now, in my current role, I’m still very much involved in the healthcare world. But today, I was the patient. It’s a completely different experience, and it really gave me a new perspective on how important it is for hospitals and staff to treat you like a person, not just a number. As I focus on recovery, I feel incredibly blessed. I’m so grateful for my surgeon, the entire nursing staff, and the beautiful facility that made this experience as smooth as possible. Now, it’s all about taking it easy and unwinding as I recover, but I can’t help but feel so thankful for the care I received. Cathy Blake This is my first experience with a concierge physician service. I will definitely continue to be Dr Shumates patient. He is a really great doctor! He listens,hes compassionate and he truly cares. His nurse, Elizabeth, is wonderful. She is efficient about getting you in quickly to see Dr Shumate and truly cares as well. Whenever I go, I have to bring several of my children with me. This is not at all a problem because the ladies at the front counter do not mind and absolutely love my children! Going here is always enjoyable and the wait time is minimal. The appointment is not rushed and everyone here is very patient and understanding! If youre willing to pay the concierge fee, I strongly recommend Dr Shumate.

Lori Liane My doctor sent me to the ER @ Texas Presby after blood test results revealed some urgently low levels, and I was so impressed I just had to leave a review to say thank you for the impeccable care I received. I was immediately given a room and minutes later, the doctor arrived and started providing me with detailed information regarding my specific situation/treatment - which involved several infusions requiring two IVs, a process to which I dont react very well. However, not only did they handle my distress with compassion and respect, the amazing nurses kept me talking and distracted while they put two IVs in so efficiently I didnt even realize one was in and barely felt the other at all. As I received my infusions over the next 6 hours, I was checked on regularly, brought warm blankets and anything else they could think of I might need, and it never took my nurse more then a minute or two to be in my room if I needed help with something. Overall, at a time when I wasnt at my best, the Texas Presby emergency room was there to provide me excellent treatment and just an overall outstanding experience - and I cant say thank you enough!

Foram Shah Dr. Thakur and her team are the best. They have always taken great care of my family, and I have recommended other to see her. She is really knowledgeable and understanding.

Christina Martin The nurses and doctors of the ICU unit are wonderful. Dr. Hutchinson was fantastic. They took excellent care of my grandfather and the location was very clean (especially compared to Medical City Plano). The bistro had decent food, especially the hamburgers and I enjoyed the piano playing daily. Great hospital.

Claire Rowan I rarely make recommendations, but I have been a patient at this clinic for several years and have found Dr. Farooqi to be a very caring, professional, and extremely knowledgeable physician. His staff are very efficient, as well as being kind and helpful. I highly recommend this clinic!
