1 /5 Sarah Sogani: I recently visited this nail salon for a French tip manicure in preparation for my homecoming, and unfortunately, it was a huge disappointment. Ive been here before and had a great experience with one of the female technicians, so I decided to return. This time, I was assigned a different technician—a male worker—and while I had no problem with that initially, the service was not at all up to par.
During the appointment, he cut my cuticle, causing it to bleed, yet there was no apology or acknowledgment of what happened. Instead, he just told me to wash it off. Throughout the session, he was rude and dismissive, telling me not to look at my nails because I was "distracting" him, which made me feel incredibly uncomfortable. When I politely asked if he could show me how he was doing the French tip on one nail so I could provide feedback, he became argumentative.
For a service that cost $55, I expected professionalism, care, and quality—especially since I was trying to be understanding and respectful of the process. Unfortunately, I left with sore cuticles and a sour experience. If youre looking for a nail salon where your input is valued and youre treated with respect, I cant recommend this place.
