Ana King I usually take my son elsewhere for sick appointments because there were never any slots left when I tried to get him in, but the lady who got us in today was so helpful. Her phone etiquette was amazing. The new NP my son saw today was great as well. Addressed my concerns and had a caring tone when speaking to my child. The reason I’ve leaving a 2 star vs a higher review is due to the MA or LVN who called my son back. She was very non caring/rude and impatient in my opinion. I’m not saying anyone has to baby my son, but when working in a pediatric clinic it’s somewhat expected to speak with compassion or at least the bare minimum respect. Overall our interaction was very minimal since I requested her not coming back in due to her tone and statement made. As someone who works in the medical field she should work on how she speaks to children.

Melanie Lopez My kids have been coming her for almost 5 years and Dr. Brenda Williams is the best. She always takes great care of my kids and she treats us like were family. Any time my kids get sick i can always call on short notice and this office always makes sure to get them in even if they have to squeeze them in. They always make sure that all my concerns and my kids needs are taken into consideration and taken care of and that my babies are properly cared for. They are the best and always do an excellent job.

Sheri Music I have been going to BSA-ADC many years. I see several doctors there. I have been pleased with each on of them plus the entire staff. Many of the Amarillo medical places here are hard to navigate for older people. BSA-ADC facility is easy for older people to use. The facility is beginning to age but I would rather go there than the big new fancy buildings. BSA-ADC is clean, well maintained with great employees. They meet the needs of their patients.

Sherly Me I called and made an appointment at 4:00 1-14-25 and got the appointment for 11:00 on 1-15-25…I was in a lot of pain and needed to see the Dr. I got in with Carla…I get to my appointment at 10:30 and the front desk says they messed up and I did not have an appointment…said they would try to work me in at 2:00…again, I was not feeling well and it took everything I had to get to the doctor…They wanted me to leave and come back at 2:00?? Seriously?? They apologized and said they would talk to the office manager about the mistake! Not good enough!! I was crying!! No empathy, no compassion…said they had “no control”…I’m livid!! I called my MD at AFP which is right around the corner and they got me in immediately!! Gave me a shot and two antibiotics!! Was out in less than 30 minutes!! But, BSA Diagnostic Clinic could not help me and wanted me to leave and come back!! I don’t live across the street!! It takes me 30 minutes to drive there!! Health Care is just not like it used to be :(….I’m 68 years old, and it would have been so much easier for them to have said, take a seat…we will get you in!!

Cindy Johnson-Dawson My husband was unfortunately very sick at the beginning of 2019. He tried getting into the office as a long time patient of Dr.Richard Chandler. Unfortunately as most of you may know he broke his arm and was later diagnosed with cancer. He was an amazing doctor and saint as far as I am concerned . The drs office however, wrongly said my husband had not been in recently, so denied him an appt. After going to urgent

Kimberly Merriott I am chronically ill (childhood epileptic) and have a really rough time getting my prescriptions refilled which seems a bit crazy to me. Dr. Burson does not respond to calls from pharmacies. And has not responded to my calls for a refill this whole week. I’m running out of meds and options. I wish some people took epilepsy as seriously as I am forced to. Also it seems they only bill once every quarter. My bill this quarter was almost $400. If I got billed promptly, I would and can pay it. It seems as if the bills piling up may have something to do with the blatant refusal to refill my medication. All of which could be remedied by AFP.

Hayden Cook Wow, there are a lot of bad reviews here. I didnt see them before I made my first appointment as I was referred. Quickly got a bad taste, though, and canceled. Initially, I was told Id get a text confirming my appointment, and then they called instead. Not a big deal at all! If anything, I preferred the call. However, asking for a text as well, since I was driving and couldnt write down the address, was a crazy concept that warranted sarcasm and a patronizing tone, lol. In the grand scheme of things, its not a big deal, but thats the last thing I want to endure while scheduling or relaying information to my doctor in the future, so its a pass for me....Unfortunate, since I had to wait a while for an appointment.

Nick Noel Seen him years ago when I was younger and he is a fantastic dr. Today I had to take my 85yo grandmother in, and they refused to see her, despite dr Jaber telling us anytime she is sick she needs to come in asap. The office staff said we could do a phone appointment, and we accepted. Then realized they never even asked for her name or number. I took her to an urgent care, got right in and diagnosed with pneumonia. The problem is not Jaber its his staff

paul p I highly recommended going else where. I sat in the lobby for literally an hour. Finally the “nurse” called me to get my vitals. Then directed me to another waiting room. Literally waited another hour. I finally ask the nurse when will it be my turn to be seen. The nurse replied “The Doctor isn’t here yet”. I was pretty upset and just left.

Valil Gentlebreeze I keep having issues getting my prescriptions filled. Unfortunately "the system" has been down since September 2024. Maybe its because Im out of my antidepressant (Again for the third time) with no refill in sight, but I think Im not worth the time of day here. Hoping their system gets fixed to maybe remedy my issue, but, eh. Its a shame because there are a few very wonderful doctors here.

anno ross Well I hate to do it. Unfortunately I have to point out. They wont fix their CPU systems after being hacked. Ive called repeatedly to get my prescriptions filled. Today will be a day with no blood pressure medication. So theyd get zero stars of it was up to me.

As for the staff Steven was a great help in guiding me through the place. I will not forget my stay and the help received is greatly appreciated.

Miki S Somewhat of an honest review and a warning. If you are seeking inpatient mental health care and you are not in immediate danger, travel somewhere else to get the help you need. They do a good job at one thing: keeping you from harming yourself and that is basically it. Its like pulling teeth to even try to get a therapist or someone to help with other issues. It is merely just a place to isolate you and keep you from harming yourself. So once again, if you are not an immediate danger to yourself or others, let someone you trust take you somewhere else for better help.

estrella Idk about everyone else but I had a pretty good experience here. Sure there was a couple bad staff members but the good outweighed the bad, I was in the DDU and most of the staff was absolutely amazing, Liz, Alberto, and Chelsea were amazing techs, Rudy and Susan were some of the best nurses, and Susan the case manager was so patient with all my questions and was just very good. The one thing I will say is do NOT trust anything Dr. Hussain says, he is a liar and its crazy that he is allowed to work there after blatantly lying to patients, everyone knows the stigma around The Pav and its hard to disprove it when you have doctors walking around lying. Other than that I had a good experience!

Roma Orca I went for an appointment to have an ultrasound and I was able to talk to a woman who was there in medical uniform, I told her that I would pay for myself and she told me that the price for an ultrasound to diagnose pregnancy was 1500 dollars and that I better go to the emergency room saying I had bleeding, now I have my insurance and Im going to change clinics, they are not pleasant at all! She treated me as if I were ignorant, believing that I would not have the money to pay.

Michelle Brown My daughter went to see Dr. Castillo, and it was a horrific experience!! First of all, she had to wait about an hour to be called back to see this Dr. After she was finally called back, she waited in the patient room for another hour and 1/2!! When Dr. Castillo finally make her appearance, she was rude, and hateful. Obviously could not have cared less about her patient!! My daughter had questions that she never even asked because she could not wait to get away from this woman!!! By looking at her other reviews, it is obvious that this happens a lot!! I’m sorry I sent my kid to her!! It WONT HAPPEN AGAIN!

Rosa K I had read many bad reviews before going but I decided to try anyway because maybe she wouldn’t be so bad. I was wrong! I addressed some concerns and questions i had but she didn’t seem to care. I was very nervous because I was gonna get a pap she did not try to comfort me because I was very jumpy. She was very impatient. She was very aggressive with it so I was tense the whole time. I could not hold back tears when she left the room. It felt like she was in a rush to get the appointment over with. She just does not make a patient feel comfortable which is the number one quality a doctor should have.

Jake My loved one is currently (at the time of typing this) serving time temporarily at Plum Creek Specialty Hospital for physical rehabilitation. Here is a list of things that I have noticed that are ATROCIOUS. FOOD: The food there is horrible. Many times I have seen the nurses or just random people delivering the meals that the Plum Creek chefs have put together. My loved one has asked many times what the dish that theyre giving her is, and they usually say "I dont know". STAFF: Buckle up, this is a long one. - I do believe that, by law, it is required for a physician of some sort to put together a plan (no matter how complicated or basic) to show the physical rehab. assistants what they need to do. (ex. This patient needs to do at least 20 minutes of physical rehabilitation a day, blah blah blah.) My loved one is doing random amounts of rehab a day, even though the doctor at BSA specified that she needed to do at LEAST one hour a day to regain her strength. This is one of many things. - The RNs are usually very caring, and fun. But most of the other staff... not so much. At the front desk, the only time I have ever seen staff there is if they are waiting for pizza to be delivered. - Another bad thing is... at the time of me typing this my loved one has been in the Plum Creek Specialty Hospital for 6 days, and has not ONCE seen a doctor of any kind, only RNs. - Once again, another staff problem. I have heard the nurses talking to (who I can assume to be a physician or director) someone on speaker who is being asked to come up to Plum Creek, and is saying "Im not coming up there." - The cleaning staff are bad too. I see them sitting in the chairs on their phones a LOT, but, as theyre running through the halls, the should be able to see the candy wrappers and sometimes potato chip bags that theyre speeding past to look at a video on another persons phone when theyre supposed to be... cleaning. I may have left a few things out... but you get it. TLDR: Do NOT send your loved ones here, unless you have absolutely no option at all. There are many better place to go.
