Payton I have been coming here for years and have always gone to M.E.D and have never had an interaction this bad before. On Friday night, I went in expecting to get help. The two women at the check-in desk were extremely nice and helpful. But unfortunately, when I was brought back to see the doctor the nurse who took my vitals CHRISTA was very rude. She was rushing the whole process because I didn’t know the answer to her questions she then and slammed the door hard when as she left the room. I then overheard her bad mouthing me in front all of the other staff and the doctor( Sean) that was about to see me. He wasn’t very much helpful either but then got mad when I was in rush to leave because of how rudely I was treated. I WILL NEVER BE GOING BACK. I honestly hope that management talks to Christia because she was extremely unprofessional by talking loudly about a patient badly behind closed doors.

Goldenrose11 Amazing that the NP John still has a job here after all the complaints. I came here several times after Covid. Im a long hauler who was gaslighted by all of my Drs when I had Covid so I dropped them all. I pick up any and everything now. Came here for bronchitis and a sinus infection. Last visit, John had the audacity to yell at me and tell me I was Dr hopping and they are NOT my Primary care Dr. Dr Hopping??? The sheer audacity. This was the only place I was going to. Last time Ill ever go to this place. The lack of empathy and compassion is astounding. Do better and find better Humans to work there. That Tool John is NOT it.

Rodriguez Henry “henroc” Play by the rules…you cannot advertise on your website and then not honor it. Businesses like this need to be held accountable for putting greed before running a legitimate and transparent business. So the 2025 rates need to include updating your adversiting!!!!! You change you website and the change your prices! That is the bottom line. I am sure the BBB, TX Attortney General, and whomever regulars our doctors. All people are trying to do is get care and help! $100 advertised visit is now $200-300. This is greed and this is why all businesses need to be held accountable.

Carolann Robbins Called to see if how soon I could have my child seen as a new patient, and spoke with the lovely receptionist who was able to get us in that day! Arriving with time for the paperwork, I feel we were seen in a very timely manor as well as the others in the waiting room. The staff was warm and welcoming to us even when my young child was unsure of things at times. I left the office feeling very confident that we received excellent care and will recommend Dr. Purgason. We have found our family physician and look forward to our next visit.

Samantha Fitz-Simons I have gone there for years, they are one of the few that accept my insurance. Last week I went in for an appointment because I had not felt well for a while. The nurse took my vitals, walked out of the room and told my Practioner, "Your not gonna believe this one." She went on to discuss my problems loud enough that I heard the entire conversation 3 doors down, Im sure every patient on my hall heard this! Kim is Great and Jason is Great, but they really need thicker walls or to train their staff!!!

Kenneth I have been coming here since 1998. After a several reputable nurses and staff left a few years back, it went downhill. They used to have very friendly and very knowledgeable staff. I had Dr. Gorman for 22.5 years. I developed a relationship with him to the point he would listen to my advice and let me be a part of my treatment. Every good doctor and PA I have known here are gone. I used to have relationships with almost every nurse and staff on a first name basis. The atmosphere is just not the same!

Tonya Chapman I have been going to this practice for 22 + years. I have always had great experiences, from the front office to the office manager to the supervisor to the nurses to the NPS to the Doctors. The front office always greets patients with a smile. They get you checked in quickly and any paperwork I need them to print out is done by the end of my visit. The office manager always makes sure to say hi and ask me how I am doing. The supervisor always makes sure she says hi and asks if I have any issues. The nurses are always kind and courteous and very compassionate. They answer your questions and if they don’t know the answer they will find it out. The NP’S and Doctors are very competent and knowledgeable. They explain things so the patients understand. They talk to you like you are a person not a number. The whole office really cares about their patients and their health. The make me feel like I am family.

Lilly Morales Be sure to go after the doctor has her baby. Wrong profession if you’re terrified of illness. I went in as a new patient. I said I had allergies and then was not allowed to see the NP without taking THREE nose swabs. No one even checked my temperature or looked in my throat to assess need. “There’s a pregnant provider here.” Cool, I was pregnant in 2021 high risk and didn’t flip out. I declined after they couldn’t tell me what that would cost me and was told I could do Telehealth ….. IN MY CAR. Hahahah go on mat leave or find a new profession that suits you.

gerek gerek They are scam artists, they will tell you that something is covered then suddenly bill you weeks later, if you complain they threaten your credit, like they think thats even a threat in a world where houses start at half a mil.

Cervezamoneys BBQ Refused to see me and canceled my appointment because I don’t have a negative Covid test! 7.23.2024 and they are not equipped to handle a patient that is sick because they are scared of Covid.

Krystle Rogers Brought my 10 year old with a 104.5 fever just to be stopped at the emergency room door to the security going through my purse, pockets, and my child’s pockets. We continued in because he had such a high spiked fever and lo and behold the place is dirty. I am hoping the physician has better bedside manner than the front office staff.

Tzahhia Coleman I have delivered at Texas Health Denton twice, and both times I had wonderful experiences. The first time was a scheduled induction, the second was a spontaneous birth where I had to get checked in through the ER. All of the staff we encountered were professional, and the nurses in L&D as well as the lactation consultants are so kind and caring. The L&D rooms are spacious and clean, and the food is decent. Im glad I got to deliver here twice, and am grateful for my experience!

Remia Henry It may be a new building, but it’s still the same VA. they don’t ever answer the phone. And the people at the front desk threaten your benefits against you if you say you can’t make that appointment. Small backstory My six month old has been in and out of the hospital since he was born. I’ve also been hospitalized myself. And I’m also pregnant with my second child. Tried to explain that to them and they don’t care. Even though I told the Front lady that I was pregnant, said that I needed to do an x-ray regardless. she proceeded to tell me that I needed to provide proof that I was pregnant. As if my belly isn’t improving enough. This is why I go to my civilian doctor. Because these people do not care. Why the hell would I want them to touch my child? If they’re threatening my benefits against me. How do I know that my unborn child is going to be safe in the hands of these so-called medical professionals? This facility is such an unprofessional place I suggest going to another VA hospital guys These people don’t care

Chris Garcia Where to even begin with this. I work about 30 minutes away and needed to make an appointment. I called and was put on hold (of course) and about 5 minutes go by and I thought who would win if I just drove over there. So I got in my car and started driving to the clinic (again, about 30 minutes away). Long story short, I managed to get there, speak to someone, book an appointment all while still being on hold. So I finally get to my appointment and I always laugh because (like the military) they ask I show up at least 15 minutes early. Much like the military I hurried and wait... For about 40 minutes after my appointment time. Funny enough, I have enough time to write this, check for spelling errors, and post this while I continue waiting for my doctor to show up. The front check in ladies are really quiet and just seem to not really like their job unfortunately. I used to do front check in at clinics so I kind of get it, but at least fake it till you make it. The nurses were the only reason why Im giving this a 2-start rating.

Jereni Arie I see my orginal comment got deleted dont know why but I will explain again. My nurse Ian Pulluy was the most malice, narcissist , unproffessional nurse I have ever met in my life. He call me "dramatic" when I was throwing up my stomach acid/fluid. He left me unattend for 4 hours not giving me my fluids that I need, just for me to get discharged to still throw up. My life was a game to him and it sad that nobody want to have him liable for his actions. Not eveybody belong in the medical industry.

Ally Dannie I’ve been here a solid 10 times and I usually have really good service. Usually because on occasion you’ll get a nurse who has the worst bedside manners and professionalism. This is very very rare but they stick out. The staff is comforting and gets you in and out as fast as they can. I tended to unexpectedly joke with them every time I came in even though I was super uncomfortable or in pain. I refuse to go to any other ER now.

Joshua Gross Front staff is incredibly rude. Had a 7:30 appointment scheduled and they did me “a favor” by letting me in 3 minutes early, and then making the snide comment of “We don’t open until 7:30”. If you can’t open the doors a few minutes early for your first appointment of the day then don’t make appointments for that time. A simple, “have a seat, someone will be with you in a few minutes” would have sufficed. Don’t expect me to be on time for my appointment and then talked to that way. And because I spoke up and didn’t accept to be spoken to that way, I have been asked to leave the practice. Good riddance. What happened to good customer service?

Seth Christianson Don’t waste your time. Didn’t even get to meet a dr on the first visit. These places are under staffed and unorganized. They cancelled my very first appointment, as I was in the parking lot and wouldn’t see me. I took off the morning to have this appt. Told me the RN got sick, so I had to come back. Complete joke. Look at the 2.0 rating they already have. Don’t make the mistake I did!

Bakyt Aliev Avoid at all costs, they literally scammed me saying I have TB from bloodwork and making pay ridiculous amounts for xray, I was trying to get my 631 for uscis, omg made me drive around Denton to get this and that shots. They do provide very little in here. Once every thing was done and time to get my papers I spent 2.5h to get it. Just sitting in there. That’s not the end, made me to go to cvs to get Covid vaccine! After two hours of sitting in there, Anyway it is ridiculous, not friendly, no one smiles at you. Overall do not go there pple save ur time and nerves Attached photo is door to humiliation!

Femi Adebayo Why is this place listed on USCIS website. My mom warned me that she just had a negative feeling about this place. I promised to review it before going there but also had the confidence that it’s a good place because they are on USCIS website and I totally forgot to read the reviews before going here. This is the worst place. There’s so much I would say but to keep it short, trust the reviews about this place and make your decision. USCIS need to not risk intending immigrants lives and recommend this place as a place to get medical exams. I’m so scared for my life. What if they have given me an infection I didn’t have before. They are so unhygienic omg.

Thomas Hermis Wasnt what I needed Ive already had injections I got a med trunks device in my healing I got a cage around my spine and screws in my back but the doctor only wanted to do is give injections and put a metronics device for me and not help me with my pain medication thats not what I need Ive done had surgeries and everything else and yet this is what I get know I can help you
