Janthon Wise Priscilla did a wonderful job! She knew exactly what I wanted and she was very knowledgeable when it comes to different effects certain tints would have when dealing with pre-dyed hair. I very much enjoyed the scalp massage as she was washing and conditioning my hair. Shes very down-to-earth, very caring, and understanding, just overall great qualities thats really hard to find in a stylist now these days. Ill most definitely return for future hair services. Very professional will all her clients no matter the age. Her room is always tidy and filled with complimentary snacks and drinks. I am always getting stopped for my locs and I always refer Sadeya, my grandmother, mother and sister are now clients of hers as well. Also for her talent, she is worth every penny plus more. I will be moving soon but I will make that 3 hour drive every 5-6 weeks to see my loctician.

Renyia Love I’ve been getting my hair done by Sadeya for three years now. She never disappoints. Even if I’m having a bad morning or bad day if I have an appointment with her she’s definitely one to take my mind off it. It’s always clean, she’s always prepared. I always let her freestyle on my locs and she always eats down.

Cenise Davis Deya, the woman behind Deyas Designs, is the best hands down. I look forward to my appointments because I know Im about to get a fire shampoo session. You dont get a two minute wash and rinse here. 20-30 minutes of a good shampoo and conditioner. No lie this is what sold me on her services. Now the loc retwist. Nothing bad to say. Parts are straight, retwist is pretty quick. The styles though are A1! I have yet to have a style that I dont like or get numerous compliments on. ISTG Im asked on the regular who does my hair. Friends and strangers. Ive recommended at least six people to her in the past few months. Sometimes I go in with an inspo pic or I will allow her to have full creative control of the style. Im gonna let these pics speak for themselves and even then it doesnt do her work justice.

Courtney Howard I went to Marsha for a hair cut and enjoyed every second of my experience! Marsha provided me with tips to care for my hair and products I should use. Since I went from wearing my natural shoulder length hair and lots of braids to cutting my hair, the front of my hair wouldn’t curl. Marsha went above and beyond to make sure I was satisfied with my style. She added flexi rods to blend my straight hair with my natural hair and she didn’t weigh my hair down with lots of product. I loved the final look and appreciate the care and honesty provided during my visit.

kara rodriguez I’ve been a regular at K-Style Hair Salon and always loved my visits when Susan, Margie, or another long-time stylist did my hair. This time, I decided to try someone new named Meridian, and unfortunately, it was a huge disappointment. I’ve always dreamed of having pink hair, so I came prepared with seven different color options, depending on how light my hair could get. Right from the start, Meridian seemed disinterested, and after switching my service from a "full-color" to a "color correction" (due to boxed dye), the price jumped from $160 flat to $100 per hour, which I accepted because I trusted the salon. The 7-hour visit, however, was uncomfortable and disheartening. Meridian barely spoke to me, was rough with my hair, and made little effort to make the experience enjoyable. My hair lightened well enough for at least one of my desired colors, but the first round of color was a disaster—patchy orange and purple (and no idea how purple even came into play!). Several other stylists had to step in to help, and while they were all very sweet, the end result was a purple-grey mess, nowhere near the pink I had always wanted. I was on the verge of tears the entire time from the disappointment. The haircut was just as frustrating—no layers, no face framing—just a straight cut that now tangles easily. After paying $600, I was devastated. Thankfully, after calling to explain my dissatisfaction, Susan was kind enough to offer a partial refund of $190. I love this salon and the other stylists, but this experience with Meridian was really upsetting. If you go here, I’d recommend sticking with the more experienced staff or avoiding color services with Meridian altogether.

Carol Nina was pleasant and listened to my concerns, but I had an issue with the lack of services when it came to fixing my hair. Original payment: $210-230, including the tip, color, and haircut. I showed her exactly what I wanted and what I didn’t, and we were on the same page. Towards the end, I noticed some areas of my hair were lighter, but she explained that, as a curly-haired person, my hair would need to dry before seeing the full result. She told me to call if there were any issues. After my hair dried, I saw that my roots were brown, which was strange since I have very dark brown—almost black—hair. I called her, and she said there would be a $100 charge to fix the color. I was really disappointed, especially since I had expressed how nervous I was about coloring my hair in the first place. Now, Im saving up to go somewhere else to fix it. My advice to others: If something doesn’t look right, ask for a fix on the spot. I should’ve pushed harder at the time instead of waiting.

At Ippodaro salon it is such a calming and serene atmosphere, I absolutely love it, I always feel so welcome upon arrival and offered refreshments, everyone is super friendly and inviting, I have always had a good experience here with my stylist Lulu, she is such a warm welcoming person, so easy to conversate with and always thoroughly answers all my questions and that is something I absolutely appreciate, I have always left with a beautiful haircut and style. Ryan Duncan This place was awesome. The entire team was great and achieved the vision I had for my hair. Took a couple hours, but the friendly staff kept me engaged with conversation and the time just flew. I watched as others came in for hair coloring, cuts and extensions. Jess Rooney Miah Sutton did a marvelous job with my color, shampoo, cut, and dry. I came in for my appointment with certain things in mind and she absolutely delivered. She understood exactly what I wanted: picked out a color to put on my natural hair (which is quite dark and I didn’t want to bleach) that would show well, gave me a trim with respect to how much length I hoped to keep, plus layered it to frame my face perfectly and look super cute up or down. Told her how I was frustrated with my straight hair in the front and how I like to accentuate my curls in the back and she knew what to do no problem. I have gotten so many compliments on my hair already, and I am in love with the style and the color. I also really appreciated not being small talked to death!!! I was running on 4hrs of sleep and on my way to a 10hr work shift and she helped that day start off great! Definitely will be back the next time my hair needs some TLC.

Christopher Miles I’ve been going to Headquarters to see Willi since 2018. I absolutely love getting my hair cut and beard trim at headquarters. I have never once left and not felt confident and excited about how my hair looks! Willi ensures to always make sure he discusses options and asks what we’re going for each time. I knew I needed a cut but I was beyond embarrassed at the state it had gotten to. My wife recommended Juliette so I booked and went to the trailer with my metaphorical tail between my legs. Stephanie I cannot say enough good things about my hair stylist Brittany, I came in with a botched bleach/ color job that made my hair green, gray, red, yellow and orange. I also had a a choppy, uneven layered cut that made me have to hide my hair under a hat for three days. I was nervous about whether anything could fix the damage, I asked 3 different hairstylists for their opinion because all I wanted was to lighten the balayage I already had. Most told me my best option was to just go back to dark and let my hair grow and try to bleach again in a few years. The products (Davines) are also great…I love that Heart of Glass is the ultimate smoother for frizzy hair. The salon is Light and open..great music and snacks; comfy shampoo room.
