Mona Anz Made room on her schedule for my menfolk to get their MUCH needed Co-vid cuts. Hubbys hair was done VERY well! Also the respectful handling of the personal dynamics was especially helpful. They will be coming back soon!

Elizabeth Chesser Suzy and staff are the best! She has been doing my hair for about 8 years now and I don’t trust anyone else. She has created the chillest and coolest vibe. The shampoo room is so relaxing. And I think her prices are very reasonable.

Tambra Lozano I went to Salon Alchemy today for the Head Spa Detox Treatment. It was so relaxing and the treatment room had a great atmosphere. The detox treatment felt refreshing and left my hair soft with my scalp feeling so clean. Give this shop and treatment a try. They were great to work with and will treat you right.

Charis Engel I have had two appointments with Suzy so far. She has been wonderful, and I have already learned so much from her! I have fine hair and it is difficult to maintain volume. She advised me to use texture spray or powder at my roots after wash and blowout, and to use dry shampoo on day two to help maintain volume. My hair has stayed fluffy instead of laying flat, and it’s a game changer! Always great customer service, and a great environment!

Samantha Baker One of the best parts of getting your hair done is having your hair washed. Now, imagine having that done for 75 minutes!!! I so enjoyed the scalp detox I received today, it was like a facial but for my scalp and hair. It was one of the most relaxing experiences I’ve had, plus my hair looks, smells, and feels absolutely incredible. Treat yourself and get a scalp detox!!!

Sarah Zapata I love Salon Alchemy! I was looking for beautiful color with dimension, but also wanting extensions and a style that I could easily replicate. (I know, alot!) Suzy checked all those boxes and then some! I loved my total experience in the salon with the whole team! Celeste Hecox Mercedes is just simply the absolute BEST. She is professional and crazy talented. She is amazing not only with her work but educating others on how to care for their care after leaving the salon. I would never switch stylists. If she is unavailable I will wait rather than trust my hair to anyone else.

Elizabeth Lopez I am a current and returning customer to Waco Color Studio and I always have a great experience with each of their services. This time around, I had my hair cut by Jackie to which she did an amazing job with the specific haircut that I wanted. Jackie cut my hair down to the “T” and my hair looks and feels amazing! Definitely recommend her. Also, I had my first ever facial with Maria. Again, Maria delivered excellent service and I couldn’t be more content on how glowing and soft my face feels. Looking forward to booking again for these same services as well as other services that they offer.

She even asked one of the experienced stylist to double check her work which I think is awesome since Ive never seen anyone else do that. Jennifer Vasquez The ladies at Stylus and Co are amazing! Had a galentines there with facials, shampoo and styled! It was such a great time and memory for us! They even had chocolate covered strawberries and cupcakes for us! They customed the whole experience to our budget and it exceeded everything! We will definitely be back!

Jennifer H Cortny is amazing at hair and eyebrows. I had being doing the research on microblading and Cortny had done a couple of my cousins eyebrows and they turned out amazing. I made my appt and she was very thorough and professional. Talked me through every step and made the experience very enjoyable. Not to mention my eyebrows look fantastic. I never knew eyebrows could make such a difference. She also does my hair and its always beautiful and shiny!

Andrea Davis The stylists at Cortny + Co are so kind and professional and the salon is so aesthetically pleasing! You wont regret coming here. Amy is my favorite for haircuts + blonding! She helped heal my hair from a bad highlight experience in town and has made it so healthy again.

Deanna Metzgar I recently went to Cortny for microblading because I was so tired of penciling in my eyebrows daily. I must admit, I was scared of having this done but with Cortny being the sweet person she is, reassured me I was going to be ok! This was the absolute best decision Ive ever made! I now feel like I can go out without make up and still feel confident all because of EYEBROWS!! Shes the best yall and I would highly recommend her!! Peggy-Marie Holloway I can never get an appointment, speak to anyone, via phone, email or social media. I booked a consultation to see what are the best services for me. It was canceled and they said I can call or email with questions. The phone number is not working and no one responded to my email. Its been days now. Im not booking an appointment without asking questions. Im feeling like Im not wanted as a client.

Brooke A gorgeous girl name Lakin Buchanan did my lashes. I’ve had lash technicians over charge, use bad products, and she did amazing! They don’t feel heavy, itchy, or burn at all! If you’ve been thinking of trying lash extensions I recommend Lakin cause she’s so sweet and talented!

Stephanie Tovar Let me start out by saying, I was very reluctant to get a facial. I hate people touching me! It just so happened that my fiance wanted to spoil me and booked me a facial with Adrianna. I went in with the thought that I was going to hate every minute. Then I met her. She is very presentable, professional and literally put my soul at ease. Ive never felt more comfortable with someone, especially someone thats touching my face. I cant express enough how much I appreciated her patience with me and how she assured me (and I could tell right away) that she kept her area clean and she went through her sanitizing process. She is so kind, and has an amazing calming vibe about her. She was gentle with massaging my face, and the rest of her routine. She is also very complimentary. I recommend her to anyone that has the same phobia and I do. We all deserve to be pampered, and going to her was the best decision Ive made, even if i was reluctant. Thank you Adrianna!

Vida Salazar I highly recommend Victoria at 202 Beauty Lounge! I travel to Waco just to get my hair done with her. She cares about her clients, she takes her time and makes sure you feel special to get the best results! She recommends the products you need to keep your hair healthy and beautiful. Oh and she gives the best shampoo/massage!!

Camila Herrera I live out of town for college and no matter where I go nobody does it better than here! Deysi is the person I love to go too! She is so sweet and patient! Don’t be scared to let her know what you want to tweak to your hair, she is so nice about it and makes sure you get the hair you want/asked for!

Amanda Cady Victoria is absolutely amazing! If I could give 10 stars I would. She went out of her way to be sure that my hair turned out exactly how I wanted it, but even better. I really appreciated how thorough she was and shes also super sweet. My mom is super picky about her hair but I told her about Victoria so just days later Victoria was able to get her booked as well. Now we both finally have someone in Waco to call our hair girl. Can not say anything but great things about her! An added bonus is everyone in the salon is super friendly as well and its beautiful inside! Definitely over all a 10/10 and will recommend Victoria and that salon to everyone!

Victoria is SO friendly and caring! She makes sure you are comfortable with every step of your service. She rolled with every decision change and was happy to do it! Davonna Murrell Layne did an amazing job on my hair!!! Her knowledge as a color specialist is hands down the best around! She has such a fun personality and her shop is so cozy and cute!

Aleah ODonnell Lane is absolutely amazing, she has given me the best cuts and vivid colors!!! Not only will you leave with your hair refreshed but your soul. Hanging out with Lane for even just a few mins always leaves me happier and reenergized. She just has an amazing energy about her and is very talented and knowledgeable hair stylist.

Amanda Sandoval I walked out of Lotus Layne feeling so much better about my hair and more confident! Gave me the exact cut I asked for. Layne is such an easy person to talk to, too. I need to make another appt and get fixed up soon, its been too long!

D I’m really attached to my long hair, so Im always nervous before a haircut but Katelyn gave me exactly what I wanted and more! My hair feels amazing, and she was so kind and made me feel comfortable the whole time. Highly recommend!

Travelista Trio I had CJ. Amazing! I had a horrible experience in the past getting my hair cut at a different salon and told CJ I was very nervous about getting my hair cut and she made sure I was comfortable with every step. I was so happy with the results I scheduled a follow up appt for myslef and two appt for my daughters with her. I literally cannot wait to go back. Ive never felt that way before about a salon.

Laura Villa This is my second time going to Lupe and I always love my hair results. She’s very sweet and she knows what she’s doing! I had cheated on Lupe with another Waco hairdresser (lol) and they left my hair a patchy mess but Lupe fixed it! I love my hair! Definitely recommend! Book with her !

David Aviles Absolute class by Melissa! Melissa looked at this crater of a face and as the great esthetician she is, I came out looking like a porcelain doll. Definitely recommend for everyone, she talks you through it and makes you comfortable while fighting crime on your face!

Toolville45 My hair was blonded and chemically cut by Suzy Shilling Hendrix. She was given an exact formula and decided to not be forth right with her ingredients. I would highly advise not to have your hair cut or blonded by this cosmetologist as I also needed to have the hair cut she did repaired. Nice person, just needs extensive training in blonding and cutting.

Scotti Geiger This is a place built by women who looked at their current employment and knew they could do better. Its where some seriously strong, talented ladies have gone when they tired of their toxic work environments. This place is so unique, with a chill and supportive atmosphere, plus loads of services. The owner is GREAT professionally and personally. Sabrina is the absolute best hair stylist Ive had, she is an awesome person.

Charity Lenz Anna seriously knows her stuff! Im a curly girl whom has had a great fear of salons, due to my past experiences i have been butchered, bleached And bullied into products I didnt need or want. But when I went to Allure today, I was quickly put at ease. She listens, she is not at all pushy, she isnt trying to get you to do something you dont really want to do, and I never felt obligated to buy product (dont get me wrong Im loving the product! Giving it a test drive and pretty sure Im going back to get some for myself!) She explained everything I needed to know about what she was doing, what I need to do for my hair, and I now have a better understanding of my hair and how to care for it. Not only did I leave here feeling like a million bucks, but I truly have a salon and stylist I trust for real! They will be seeing my smiling face in there again!

T k So I went to Anna, nervous and scared because I never gotten my hair cut while still curly.. I love that Anna first sat down with me and asked me what kind of shape style I wanted.. and two she told me everything she as doing as she did it.. i wish I stayed in Waco my hair came out great even better the next day! Stephanie Torres THEY LITERALLY SAVED ME!! Yesterday i went to TWO different salons I left in tears at the first salon (pictures below) my hair was NOT what i asked for, my hair reeked of bleach, it was three different colors, my scalp was burning (she bleached me 3 TIMES) not only that my curls were completely destroyed, my hair was falling out by the clump, i literally was pulling my hair out. it was so much breakage I was about to shave my hair and call it day, I was so heartbroken, my hair is literally everything, it’s what makes my face, outfit whatever come together. I was crying and going through so many emotions. I looked up “Haircuts in Waco” and On The Avenue Salon & Blowout Bar popped up first, I called i was crying on the phone explaining my situation, they said come in to see what they can do, an hour later i walk in i was met with so many sweet ladies, who understood where i was coming from and they literally did their big one! Evie was super sweet told me what i could do to rejuvenate my curls gave me recommendations and how to keep my curls healthy. NOT ONLY THAT they had time to fit me in and did my hair THAT DAY!!! there was one sweet girl who did my hair i forgot her name (she had glasses and brown hair) she washed it, conditioned it, gently detangled it, not one brush or comb was used, and put toner in and made it all one color. I WAS VERY HAPPY WHEN I LEFT!! my hair is saved i don’t have to cut it off and restart, these ladies did their BIG ONE!! i’m so happy

Rebekah Escobar My stylist Adrienne did an AMAZING job!! She did a FULL foil starting at 6:00pm, so thankful she works around my work schedule! Very sweet, felt an instant connection with her! Adrienne is very knowledgeable and extremely talented! She loves people and takes pride in her work!!!

Simone Henry I come in for my 5:15 pm appointment. They told me to wait for 20 mins. Okay. Then it’s 5:40 and they forgot about me. I ask again, and they said oh we will get you an associate stylist (whatever that means). I went in for a blow out and I was disappointed. Washing services good. Using a hair dryer not so good. Well my stylist never did one before but the other person working on my hair was super rough and aggressive. I almost cried. Then they said tada here are the results…. I almost cried again. It was random curls and weird dimension. They kindly changed it but they used an iron to fix it?! The amount heat damage. They also used dry shampoo (I don’t know why?). I felt like they were rushing it and it’s apparent in the results. I would not pay $40 for this, when I could do this myself. Results should be more professional. Will not be coming back again… other places are cheaper and do better!

Krystal Chapman I was greeted promptly, and with a smiling face upon arriving, and did not have to wait long to be seen. Dee Flores did an amazing job cutting my hair despite the fact that I had cut it myself, and messed it up pretty badly. She was very kind and went straight to work like it was second nature to her. Samantha, who washed my hair, is amazing! She made me feel comfortable and gave me a lot of good advice. I would love to be seen by them again to maintain my hair from now on. Thank you guys. I appreciate you so much!!

Sierra Williams My stylist, Evie was amazing! I went in with several different styles and colors not really knowing what I wanted. She had an idea to get me exactly where I wanted to be and surpassed my expectations! She was very friendly and professional, so were her mentees. These ladies make you feel welcomed and at home with their beautiful smiling faces and sincere interest in making you look amazing. Casie took her time and answered my questions and helped me make the best decisions on changing my look. I love that I get individual attention in a very cozy and eclectic setting.. just what you want when you need some pampering! She is so loved and respected that she does get booked up, so make sure you plan ahead! And even if they can not accommodate you right away, they will offer you suggestions of other salons in the area.

Adrianne Rettig This is my first time coming to this salon and I LOVE it. Cassey and her mom are super sweet and such a great team. I was nervous about doing color on my first visit to a new salon but Cassey did a great job! The first round of color didnt turn out exactly right so Cassey made a suggestion on how to fix it and worked with it until it was perfect. I will definitely be coming back.

debejean Hippie Chic Salon is The BEST! I was so very fortunate to find this wonderful salon when I was in the middle of a hair emergency! (An unfocused hairdresser chemically burned my hair & I was left with a mess.) I called & spoke to many salons/stylists in Waco trying to get help with my hair but Hippie Chic Salon was the only salon who REALLY sounded sincerely concerned & invited me to come in. Casie @ Hippie Chic saved my hair. My hair is now healthy & long again thanks to Casie @ Hippie Chic Salon. She is talented, kind, knowledgeable & always there to help. Best Stylist ever!

A Tello Excellent!!!!! Casie is a true professional and knows what she is doing. She cares and wants her clients to always leave happy and more beautiful! I am very picky and dont enjoy getting my hair done because it usually doesnt turn out right, but thanks to Casie, I am enjoying my beautiful hair and will definitely be a long time customer. Thy Will Literally the worse haircut Ive ever received. I came out looking like a chia pet. Told them I wanted a taper and a part. Somehow my head looks rounder than a basketball. Told her how she could work around my head shape and she just looked at me confused. I ended paying $25 for this haircut. Ive had better haircuts at Supercuts. You can tell when people dont care about their craft. Jennifer is one of those people . I most definitely did communicate. Also told her I had a job interview the next day. Took less than 10 min for the job to be done. Once it was done it was irreversible.

Jacob S. Showed a couple references and ended up with a girlfriend with a karen haircut. The length was multiple inches shorter than asked for, the bangs were cut very differently, and the overall shape and style was the exact opposite of what she asked for. She went home and cried. What she asked for was completely disregarded and was cut multiple inches shorter than she asked for so it wasnt able to be fixed to what she wanted.
