C Christy (MacaroniNoodles) I cant believe there arent any reviews yet! As far as I know, a fair share of customers at this salon are regulars. My dad found this salon ages ago, probably around 20 years ago, and he and I are both loyal and loving customers. Brandi, now the owner, has been his stylist since day one and now shes mine as well. It has a very down-south, homey kinda feel to it. Youll always feel welcomed and appreciated. Ive never had anyone else at this salon cut my hair besides Brandi, but shes so personable. She really gets to know her customers. And shes very good about squeezing me in for a trim, emergency or not. (Had a horrible self-inflicted bang incident a few years back...) I would absolutely recommend this salon to anyone who wants personal, quality service. Give them a try! You wont regret it!

Michele Glicer Nevenka is an amazing hair artist! She is someone who knows what she is doing and does it well. I have gotten so many compliments on my color since my last appointment. They offered a drink, washed, cut and styled our hair, and of course, there were suckers for the little one. She had to get a pic with the background there!

Casey Campbell My blonde root touch up (bleach and tone) turned out really nice however they did more work and so charged me way more than they should have! I signed up for a root touch up only, for $65, but they ended up charging me $250 for it! Plus they kept playing LOUD Spanish music which was annoying.

Hope Meredith I usually get my hair done by Christina or Theresa. I ALWAYS LOVE my hair afterwards, and feel so refreshed and revitalized. I am always astounded by the talent at this salon, and the ability to make my hair look beyond gorgeous. You definitely get what you pay for with these lovely ladies. If you want to look like you spent $30 getting your hair done, go to Sally’s and buy the products to do it at home, but if you want to look like your hair was done by a professional, go to Salon Bellus. They go above and beyond with every aspect of the guest experience. As soon as I walk in, I am greeted and offered a beverage. My stylist discusses what to expect during the service and advises me of the price ahead of time. She also educates me on any upgrades that may be helpful for my hair to keep it soft, shiny, and strong. My absolute favorite part is getting to go to the shampoo bowl and enjoying a nice scalp massage. Then I get styled (included in the price of the haircut). I am grateful that my stylist offers me products to help take care of my hair between sessions. Definitely worth the hour drive, I will follow these ladies wherever they go!

Grace Cropper The salon is very nice and everyone is welcoming. Stormy is an amazing stylist and I would recommend her to everyone! She has been doing my hair for almost a year now and is incredible at executing the color that I want every time. She also cares a lot about maintaining the health of my hair and has definitely improved its condition. Overall, she is very sweet and very talented!

Michelle Park Do not go here if you have a haircut in mind. They will disregard your request completely. My bf went in with exactly one month growth since his last haircut and asked for a trim. He showed photos of the initial haircut and acknowledged that to get the exact look, he’d need a perm but just needed to clean up his current hair. He ended up walking out with an ENTIRELY different haircut. His bangs were not blended AT ALL, they gave him a skin fade and extremely tight trim on the sides despite his initial haircut not having any of those qualities. The sideburns are absolutely diabolical.. they gave him super short & tiny little triangles instead of the “natural” look sideburns from the initial haircut. SO SO SO disappointed given his initial haircut was tailored around the perm he got just a month ago. They completely ruined the shape and flow of his perm and gave him an entirely different hairstyle. 0/10 Photos attached for reference. Please learn from this interaction and pay attention to your customers requests!

Jkim0913 Needed a last second haircut and walked in. Had El, and she was great! I think she just moved to this location and did a great job with listening to exactly what I wanted! Got a wonderful scalp massage too when I got my hair washed.

Zamir Nadir This was probably the best place I went to, specifically because of Ethan. I was a broke student at UTD but would still drive all the way to here and occasionally tip him if I had the money. This guy always fixed me up right, he knew what I wanted. And if you said “a little off the top” he wouldn’t destroy your hair like other people, he would actually listen. He was a master at two-block style cuts. I unfortunately had to move away due to graduation. I miss him so much. I hope he is doing well. I am considering driving 5 hours just to get a haircut from him again. The staff are also nice and kind, and use a very soft shampoo. 10/10 place.

I showed him a picture of my desired haircut, but it was not replicated exactly. Nonetheless, I was satisfied with the result. If you are seeking a highly skilled stylist, I suggest exploring alternative options. This salon is better suited to basic haircuts and styles. The total cost was $45, which, in my opinion, was not particularly good value, but at least I had my haircut done.

Lillie Overby I recently moved to Lewisville and literally Tommys Salon was the closest place to my house. My son needed a haircut and he can be a little picky. Tommy was absolutely amazing! Talkative, friendly, had me laughing the entire time!! Cozy atmosphere, we felt right at home. The haircut was fast and absolutely perfect. Hes very knowledgeable and talented, this is our new "home" salon.

If you want your scalp to burn like flames are shooting out of your head every time you get a relaxer but this has never happened to you before, go to Dreika. If you want all your hair to break off because the relaxer is too strong for you, please be sure to go to Dreika and shes gonna ASK you for a tip... Good luck with that!

coolchoclattgrrl I dont normally write reviews, but in this case, I felt I had to. I called the salon to see if there was someone that could cut womens natural hair. The woman on the other end of the line said "yes" and asked when I could come in so she could take a look. Fine, no problem. I went in with wet hair, I knew it would most likely be cut either wet or blown out and cut. She put me under the dryer then took me out, sat me in the chair, asked to see a pic of what I wanted and I told her to keep it longer because of shrinkage and, because I wanted it to look like the picture. She literally started pulling at my hair and cutting like she was trimming random hedges. While cutting random pieces of hair, she kept pulling at my hair only to have it coil back, because thats what coily hair does. She asked me something, I cant remember what it was because I was getting upset that she was butchering my hair, and I couldnt just walk out. I said it wasnt like the picture at all and she stated something like the hair in the picture was "like a weave". She asked if I wanted to be edged up and I said "No, I just want to pay you and get out". She, obviously upset at me said I didnt have to pay and I didnt. My point, if you dont know how to do it, just say you dont know how. I wouldnt have been upset about that. I thought my "great shearing of 1996" was my worst haircut. This by far trumped it.

Jason Jung When I got home and checked it closely in the mirror, I noticed that the length of the top hair, the side hair, and the back hair, the layers didnt match, they didnt flow naturally, and the symmetry between the right and left sides of the bangs and the side hair wasnt right at all, and it was just cut all over the place like it was eaten. Ha... just sigh. It really comes out. I really want to get a refund because its a waste of money, but Im just leaving a review because I dont think Ill ever go back. I dont recommend going to get a haircut for men in their 20s or 30s. This is a hair shop on the first floor of Zion.

Darby B I have wavy, unruly hair and am very picky about hair stylists. I have been with Sharon for almost 10 years—longer than other, and I drive all the way from Denton for appointments. Sharon gives a fantastic cut—other stylists that do my color have commented on how precise her cuts are. She is also great at listening to your needs and making you feel comfortable. Her salon environment is also very nice. I can’t recommend Sharon highly enough!

Piyush Pandey My wife went here as this was close to our place and she was able to get appointment quickly. They did nails in a hurry and didn’t do much dusting off after dipping the nails in powder. My wife kept insisting that it can be cleaned before applying gel but they just wanted to get it done quick. Within first 24 hrs, one of the nails came off. Then I got back in to fix it, again they did it in a rush. Second day one of the nails broke down. Not happy with the way they want to rush up the nails to get more customers and money instead of doing it properly. Not going here again.

Courtney Long I booked an appointment for a shampoo, cut, and style. She did not shampoo or style my hair. She cut my hair while it was dry. I asked for her to trim my bangs and she did not even try to make my part even so my bangs are all over the place. She seemed like she was in a hurry for me to be out.she was very nice and shared some cool stories but that was the only good thing I can say about my first time experience. I hate leaving bad reviews and never really do but my hair looks horrible after getting home, washing my hair, and trying to style it. I got my haircut for a wedding but it looked better before it was cut. It saddens me to leave this review but it saddens me to look at the mirror and see my hair.

Jacklyn Jimenez Okay so I have been coming here for like about 3-4 years on and off and honestly it really depends on who cuts your hair. Its funny I never really learned any of their names because I hardly like to talk. Now it depends who cuts your hair because some of the new young men are rude and racist. For me I never have had an issue and like on some occasions people confused me to being white for my light skin. But today I suppose they didn’t know I speak Spanish and when my husband came to get his haircut the guys refused to cut his hair but instead this nice lady did. When my husband was getting his hair cut I overheard the lady in the front ask him why he didn’t want to cut his hair and he stated because “his hair is easy since he is white plus I dont like doing white people hair”. Although, I wasnt personally attacked this was unacceptable. Another thing that was unacceptable was the guy who racially insulted my husband was making out with the lady in the front! I’m sorry I am all for romance, but work it work and their is a time and place for everything. Other than that I give this place three stars on just haircuts. Two stars on customer service and that’s pushing it. Lastly three stars on presentation, but what do you expect for a hair salon.

I continued to ask questions and even commented that I did not expect a commitment to the price, if they could offer a ballpark price, and she wouldn’t budge. After reading the reviews, I understand the prices are very inconsistent, including for loyal customers seeing the same barber. This place is a NO-GO

I was paying 35 plus a tip per person at my old place.. for a cut every week for me and my son.. that adds up, anyway come here and pay decent prices for a good cut, you wont be sorry.

yuh Zo Horrible customer service. I called in to ask for a price to get my hair perm. They said i have to go there in person but i had told them i live kinda far so is it okay if i send a picture and without even saying they cant do that or explaining, they just said “no bye” and hang up.
