1 /5 Myah Glam: I’m extremely frustrated and disappointed with the customer service I’ve received regarding a broken charm. I got this bracelet March of 2023 at an event I attended as a local wedding vendor in 30A FL. This was my first piece of permanent jewelry I paid $423.89 for this one bracelet with a tiny diamond charm. June 2024 I look down at my bracelet and realize the diamond is missing. It’s difficult to get in touch with them, but I finally did reach someone via text. I had to message multiple times to get an answer and was told the charm would be replaced no problem. They are no longer doing business in this area but said the charm would be replaced at their next pop up in 30A late August, early September. I patiently waited over 2 months for the pop up. No mention of a pop up was ever made on any social media and I was not able to make an appointment online. Which leads me to believe there was never a pop up to begin with. I reached out via text again yesterday and was told they weren’t scheduled to be in 30A this month. That’s it, no apology no alternate solution. So I waited months for no reason and instead of apologizing and offering a different solution (like just mailing me a new charm or offering a partial refund) I’m again being ignored. I have been extremely patient and nice. After paying over $400 for a bracelet I expected Gilted Thread to stand behind their work. Unfortunately now I am going to have to get it removed, my “permanent” jewelry wasn’t so permanent, making this a complete waste of money. If you plan on supporting this business please keep in mind if you have a broken charm or any type of issue you will be given the run around and ignored. This could have been such an easy fix but has been dragged out for weeks for absolutely no reason. Do better.
