ZR nail place on 78 - Jackson Heights (NY)

5 /5 Valeria Gallegos: I’ve been coming to 78th nail place for a couple of years now consistently every two weeks for a gel manicures. I keep coming back because I feel like they actually care about my nail health. When they take off the gel they make sure to soak it off and then are able to gently scrub it off. I am not a fan of the machines used that file nails down because my nails are thin as it is, so this is what helps my nails last. They also let me know when my nails need a break from a manicure. They also are very accommodating to the new colors I would like to try. If they don’t have one, they find the closest color to the one I wanted and help me out by mixing colors (gel) to get the one I want. I love that they also work by appointments. Cecilia, Johanna, and Maria are dedicated to their clients and remember what their preferences for future visits.

5 /5 D Tro: Have been coming to Cecelia for over a year. Wonderful manicures!! We do new designs every time and I was so pleased with this design based on Japanese pottery. She takes her time and doesnt rush you through the manicure.

1 /5 P. T.: This place should not be called a nail salon. If you want basic service that a nail salon should provide, stay away from this place. Starting from the time you call to make an appointment, the tone of the conversation is not good and when it comes time to get my nails done, they will not do what you want. They will only do what they want to do no matter what you ask them to explain why it cant be done. They will get annoyed and irritated with you and use Spanish and English that I cant understand. (I dont blame them for using other languages ​​but I blame them for being rude in explaining their language when they know I cant understand them.) From the nail technicians to the manager and the owner, they dont see this as rude and a problem with the service. I cant believe they treat customers like that. Instead of the owner being more mature than everyone else, but they have the same vision. Its embarrassing. And the nails are not done as beautifully as a standard nail salon should be. I think this place is still in business because its cheap but trust me, stay away from this place. Save your time and money to a better place. Dont waste your time here. Its not worth it.

1 /5 S L: I dont usually write review and rarely complains on anything, but this was one of the worst nails Ive gotten over the years. Theres dust in the nail, the nail products were overly applied (its thick and peeling already), and they are not smooth. Soak-off, nails came out to be $36 + tip and this is very disappointing. It was bad on the first day and only had been 3 days and its starting to peel for 4 nails. Never going back to this place and cant wait to remove these nails.

5 /5 Jay R: Indeed the best nail salon Ive ever been too. Everyone is polite and attentive and you dont see that often nowadays so it makes you appreciate it a little more. I go for acrylic nails and pedicures and I always leave content and satisfied. Thank you ladies!
