New nail story - Woodhaven (NY)

Just Me So I was in a bind. I had a family emergency on Sunday that prevented me from getting my nails & hair done that day. So here I was stressed Monday evening at 7pm trying to find a salon that would be open late and can accommodate me. I came across Sugar Scrub & saw they closed 8:30 so I called. I spoke to the owner Sharon & briefly explained my delimna & she said that shell ask the nail tech because she was getting ready to leave. So I waited for the call back with baited breath and sent her a pic of what I wanted for nails so she can show the tech. Next call was, "are you on your way?" And that was all I needed to hear. I arrived shortly after and was greeted and seated right away. I was introduced to Karina and she was patient and super friendly and accommodating. Sharon made sure we had everything that I would need for my nails to come out as the pic. I got my nails started and while the acrylic set, I got my gel pedicure. She was so gentle with me and did not rush. We talked and shared stories. When she was done, she did my brows for me. Perfection. We got back to my nails and I was super pleased. I cannot say enough how at ease I felt from the first initial call to the moment I left the salon around 9:58pm. I made sure to let Karina know that Ill be back because she sacrificed her family time to make sure I was ready for my wedding. Hands down Sugar Scrub staff is a reflection of management and Sharon is a breath of fresh air. I salute her and Karina for making me feel special and appreciative of the people we entrust with our big moments. A million times Thank You but it seems like Thank You just isnt enough✨️ You have a patron for life ❤️

Brianna Saint-Clair Great pedicure, she was very attentive and did not rush at all. I was a walk in and they took my right away on a Saturday at 6pm. Very relaxing, and nails look great. I paid 42$ for a gel pedicure and removal of previous gel. I would definitely recommend

Money W I have been going to Josephine for 15 or more years. They did my nails for my wedding. Love them. ❤️ I go every two to three weeks. I am never disappointed. I see all the fancy nails they do, but I like to just keep mine simple. Thank you for 30 years of wonderful service. After 30 years with my nail tech, she retired this year. I have not had my nails done since the outrageous cost of nails is crazy.

Danyelle Roumer I’ve been coming here for about a year now. They’re courteous, friendly, and professional. I always come here for my pedicures and nails, Lily is really kind, as well as Jeffrey. He always gives me pretty nails!

Judy Poochie Helens place has been my go to nail salon for about 6 years now. Her staff work very hard and Helen is always there to help translate what you want if need be. I suggest you make your appointment early and arrive on time. Prices are fair. Parking is a pain. Got these done today: coffin shape power dip set for $40.

Valentina DCosta Sharon, Ling , Jiang, and Nancy are super nice are amazingly good at their craft! I have been coming here straight for a year and they were able to make my natural nail grow to an extent that I’ve never seen before! The prices are very reasonable, their customer service is great and their hygiene is excellent! I always look forward to my next nail appointment. They also gave us a cute holiday gift! These ladies are excellent.

Tania Alexandra Every time I have an important event and need to have my nails done, Pink Toes is the place to go. They work with appointments, but sometimes theyll try their best to accommodate you. The owner is very sweet, and their customer service is great. Happy to have them in the neighborhood.

Maria Cristina Rodriguez I love coming here for my wax, pedicure and manicure. All three ladies are so sweet and helpful. I have very sensitive skin and this is the only place I trust for my full body wax. They are precise and quick. Also love how my nails came out. This is a gel manicure but they made my real nails look fabulous. Highly recommend. Try to call ahead of time for an appt and they will gladly accommodate you. 10/10

Sabrina Khan Honestly the best manicure I received in a long time! My nail tech YOYO took her time to carefully clean my nails and shape them to my liking! She didn’t rush while doing my nails and I absolutely loved her professionalism and kindness!!!
