Even though, like the dealership service center, no appointments were available for nearly a week, once Joe heard that the Check Engine light was flashing, he grabbed a tool, ran a diag, and drove the car into the service bay noting the off-timing and misfires. Turns out mice had nested under the hood and chewed through some important ignition wire. A little de-nesting, a quick wire-fix, and a suggestion of peppermint oil infused cotton balls under the hood, and the car was road-ready in under an hour. Joe, you and your service team are all right!
