5 /5 Sara Elizabeth: Being that I live two hours away from UVS, calling here was a last-hope effort to get my cat an emergency cardiology consult. During a moment of panic when I was told by my primary vet that my 2 year old otherwise healthy cat may very unexpectedly be in congestive heart failure just days before Christmas, I was immediately relieved and comforted by the kind receptionist who took my call and offered me an extremely accommodating appointment.
Dr. Kent and her team, with special credit to assistant/LVT Caitlin, have been beyond lovely, gentle and, most importantly, extremely intelligent and competent. My kitty was immediately given medical attention with every step of the diagnostic and treatment plan thoroughly explained to me. Although a challenging and rare case, we were given more attention and thought from Dr. Kent than I ever expected. Thankfully, Dr. Kent determined that my girl was not in heart failure and came up with a detailed treatment plan for her condition to which she has responded perfectly.
Additionally, as a veterinary professional myself, I just want to add that I am beyond impressed with the cleanliness, organization, and calmness of this facility despite the amount of traffic they may have at any given time, as well as the kindness of all the front desk staff with special thanks to Jenna R.
