4 /5 Karey Gwinn: I had a heart attack and flatlined twice. I spent 9 months in a hospital and now have an artificial heart pump. When I got out of the hospital I had to get by on disability. I found that many churches in the area offer assistance to people. I have been to most in the area. The Salvation Army really does the best job. They serve a very nice breakfast and the lunches are usually more than adequate.

5 /5 Joyce: Was part of the soup kitchen crew this week with Our Redeemer Lutheran church. Always a great experience and reminder of how our community comes together to serve needs. Very thankful the Salvation Army is in our community.

Victoria G. Beautiful church in downtown Schenectady; Father Isoppo is a great pastor. Daily mass at 12:15 M, Tues, Thurs and Friday. Vigil at 5:30 pm. Sunday at 9:30 am. Reconciliation following daily mass. Eucharistic Adoration following Friday mass on the first Friday of the month. Faith formation is offered through the parish.

Open Arms Church

Brighter Side Fashion Boutique LLC It is a wonderful church with kind people. I had been attending and was looking forward to getting to know more people and being of service. However, I was forced to move out of the area due to an abusive living situation. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS CHURCH, and I am grateful to have been able to attend while living in Schenectady.
