Liberty Church - Schenectady (NY)

5 /5 M M: My daughter & grandson attend this church & whenever I visit, I go with them. The presence of God is felt during Praise & Worship. The Holy Spirit is in this place. I just wish that Praise & Worship was longer!!

4 /5 Maggie B: High energy. Great music. People dancing and jumping, People waving flags. FULL IMMERSION BAPTISM. This was a great service BUT, the homily was almost an hour long in addition to about an hour of singing. I was welcomed in the parking lot, welcomed at the door, welcomed by an usher, shown to a seat, welcomed by the people around me and then invited to a reception for first time visitors. This church does everything right but, too long. Not that God isnt worht it, he just gave me a short attention span. A little too much like a rock concert. I needed a little "me" time. The pastor seemed to be saying his homily off the top of his head without notes. He knows the bible very well. Nice mix of race and many people were dressed in their Sunday clothes.
