Our reality back at home is not. Some of us come from homes that are able to afford regular meals, while some of us do not know where the next meal will come from. Thank you again. Then, you should try this one! I’ve been searching for a church that I can find a supportive and accepting community in New York City for a while. Tried out +10 churches in Manhattan and found the River. It is a place you can ask difficult question without being afraid of getting judged or reprimanded. You don’t have to hide your authentic self. You can discover a new way to approach the faith and realize God’s deep love and presence for you. You can find a very diverse and friendly community and hang out with them during many events. Would highly recommend!

Bindia Malhotra I love this church; the worship is God filled and the people are just so genuine, loving and their walk with God is so clear. The relationships built through connect groups are grounded in the individuals willingness to be open and vulnerable with each other in their pursuit of Jesus.

Jonathan Mendez This church practices and teaches the true message of Love that God teaches us, a church where everyone is welcome, Beautiful homilies , beautiful music, this church has adult groups for baptism and confirmation and the best Easter Vigil in NYC.

Nick Felker I visited this place as the New York Philharmonic performed Handels Messiah. This was the first time I visited and I found myself completely enamored by the decor and architecture. Everything has a significant amount of detail and the main cathedral provided an excellent acoustic experience.

Nicholas Pascale Family oriented church, coffee, tea, water, donuts and cookies after Mass. Great choir. Good sermons. Lending library. Excellent concerned lay staff. You feel at home from the minute you walk in!

Chintan Desai Attended the Christmas Mass and it was a surreal experience. The hour long Mass was spectacular and the choir singing was super. The whole church was dark with plastic candle lights st the end when everyone sang silent nights. Simply a wonderful, spiritual experience. One should attend if you are around the city during Christmas
