1 /5 Isabella Moo: In May, I brought my vehicle to Oriskany Garage while I was living in Utica, to have both the intake and exhaust VVT solenoids replaced. At the time, my husband was deployed in the Middle East, and I relied solely on this shop to handle the repair professionally and thoroughly.
Just a few months later, I’m now living at Fort Drum, and the same issue has returned — the P0014 code is back, and I’m now experiencing additional serious problems: the engine shuts off while driving, there’s a loss of power, and the ABS system is malfunctioning.
This is not only frustrating, but also unsafe. I’m now concerned about the reliability of the work performed, especially since the car is no longer safe to drive and I’m hours away. I trusted Oriskany Garage to do quality work with dependable parts, and I’m disappointed to be facing potentially costly and dangerous consequences for a repair I already paid for just a few months ago.
I’m not writing this to be harsh, but to express my deep disappointment as a military spouse who relied on this service during a deployment, and in hopes that Oriskany Garage will take accountability and be willing to review the situation fairly. A willingness to stand behind their work — especially when it affects customer safety — would be appreciated and go a long way toward restoring confidence.
