Lori B I was actually a customer of Dental Association of Staten Island for several years before it became Smilist Dental. The front desk staff: Gabriel, Denise, Christine and Gino are awesome. Josephine or, as I call her, Josie, my Dental Hygienist, and my dentist, Dr.Mark Severino, are truly amazing. The entire staff is warm, friendly, and professional. They treat me like family and go beyond the max to ensure Im okay on all levels. Clean environment and pleasant atmosphere helps create a positive 5 STAR experience.

Amanda P. AMAZING!! Everyone is truly amazing at this office! They got me into the office the same day I called (Im a new patient) Marie and Francine were really sweet and super helpful! Kat the office hygienist is really nice and she gave me a great cleaning! Dr. Cantor is super nice, very knowledgeable and hes honest, hes truly an all around great person and amazing dentist! He actually listens, cares and his work is great, which are qualities that are hard to find these days. Maybe my standards are set higher because I used to work as a dental assistant, but I highly recommend Dr. Cantor to anyone and everyone! If I was able to give a hundred stars I would! Arieta Sej The amount of stars depends on the doctor. I first had Dr. Sadina Roselin for a cavity filling and I had such a bad experience I was ready to give one star and never go back. She was so unprofessional and rude to not only me but to the staff as well. Ive never experienced anything like it. She refused to explain anything, she audibly laughed when I said I was in pain, water was spilling down my neck, it was just overall a terrible experience. She yelled at me at one point for closing my mouth...I did not and she was visibly annoyed the rest of the appointment. BUTTTTT I went back and switched to Dr. Om Chainani, the owner, and I was BLOWN AWAY at the difference!!! He was so patient and kind with me. He explained every small detail, asked if I was in any pain during the filling, understood where my pain was coming from and calmly explained the reasoning behind it. He apologized once for taking longer on the filling because he wanted it to be perfect. Id rather have that!! If youre going to come here book with him!! 5 stars for Dr. Om Chainani!! (also the receptionists were always super helpful and kind. I constantly had issues with insurance and referrals and they were always patient and ready to help. Not sure what the others reviews are on about. 5 stars for them too!)

Lisa West Everything is broken into separate appointments; x-rays, cleaning, treatment. RANT - My appointment for cleaning was postponed due to my high blood pressure, but they used a wrist monitor then had me walk to the other side to use the arm monitor within 5 minutes. Once I got home I tested using my arm monitor I was normal. And no, I dont have white coat syndrome. END RANT. My questions about future treatment and my current dental habits were answered to my satisfaction. On-street parking without fee. S44 bus.

Ax3185 Staff was incredibly helpful and polite throughout my entire experience. I have severe dental anxiety, but both the assistant and Dr. Accardo were so patient and informative during my extraction. I literally felt no pain! Not once did I feel rushed or like a burden, which has unfortunately been my experience at other dental offices. Their kindness and professionalism made such a difference. I felt so comfortable that I immediately scheduled my next visit for a cleaning. I highly recommend this office to anyone looking for quality dental care with a compassionate team!

Janice Higgins Dr.D’Anna is amazing! He turned a devastating event for me into a bearable situation. I thought surgically extracting a tooth would be sooooo painful. Well, Dr D’Anna caused no pain during or after the extraction! He is a true professional, besides being a warm, kind, sympathetic man! I can’t thank him enough for easing my fears!! His staff is just as amazing! Greeting me so cordially and making me feel comfortable from The moment I stepped into the office.
