Kylen Smith Ive had awful experiences with nail salons near here, but Im happy to say that I found a wonderful salon that gave me one of the most high quality gel manicures I have ever received. I booked a 12:30 pm appointment and was seated right away. The salon wasnt empty but wasnt crowded either - a good sign, in my opinion. My nail tech was very thorough throughout the entire process. I never felt rushed as she made sure everything from my nail length/shape, cuticles/skin around my nails, and the application of the color was perfect. I was fortunate enough that she was able to provide me a UV dryer for each hand (although I dont know if this would be the case during a busier time). Unlike other places that try to rush the drying stage, my nail tech made sure to let my nails stay under the lamp for two full 60 second cycles for each layer of primer, polish, and top coat. She had a sixth sense for knowing when the heat lamp had completed its cycle, as she would quickly turn it back on. Shoulder/back massages are offered, but I declined. I still received a complimentary "sample" massage at two different points during the appointment. It felt so nice that I might have to get one in the future. This salon prefers cash and has an ATM by the front door. The ATM fee isnt that expensive ($2), but there are enough major banks in the area that you can withdraw some cash ahead of time if you want to avoid the fee. My manicure looks beautiful and has really boosted my confidence in the short while that Ive had it. I will definitely be returning in the future!

Aya Mohamed My go-to spot in the city. Amazing service that offers uniqueness. Everyone is talented and accommodating. Theyre very fast, Im in and out 50 minutes max for a gel soak off and then a gel manicure. I recommend paying in cash so you can use that saved money on the tip.

Jasmine Laguerre Jenny was Amazing. She didnt cut me or hurt me in anyway and she is so kind. I lived in Manhattan for two years now and havent had a good experience in other nail salons, But at 109 Nails they give you what u ask for and do a great job.

tom wang Had a wonderful spa pedicure here! The atmosphere was so relaxing, and the service was excellent. The prices were affordable, and the staff—especially the boss—was super friendly. I’ll definitely coming back!

Hiba Yosopov I got a Russian manicure done with Irina and had a great experience :) First, shes super helpful and professional when it came to picking out the nail shape and color. Second, she gave me options on what we can do with my broken nails and also what I should do/not do for future when it comes to the length of my nails. Third, She worked so meticulously and paid attention to every detail, I am extremely happy with how my nails turned out, and I cant wait to be back in a few weeks.

Kathryn J I went to this location cause the rating was so good on Google. The procedure was nice. I liked the massage as well…but only after a day, my hair started to get stuck in between the nails and the gel. I was hoping it would go away but the tip of the nails are all rough getting more things stuck (my jacket as well…) after a week, the tip of the nail chipped. It seems that the nails lacked another coating….? I really wanted to love it but I sadly will not be going back… (Just writing this for FYI. Don’t expect too much. )

Veronica Yi I’ve been going to artonus for about 6 months now and this has now become my go to place for nail art and extension! they are absolutely amazing! the staff is so sweet and the studio is super cozy! they can do a variety of different styles and are extremely meticulous! i really like that they also help you decide on certain designs, shapes, and colors through a brief consultation. they take the extra time to really understand what you want!

Sam M. When I say Mira got me all the way together, I’m not exaggerating!! For months I’ve been contemplating a Russian manicure but was skeptical because I’ve gotten painful cuticle inflections after other nail shops have manipulated my very sensitive cuticles. Scrolling on IG Mira’s shop pops up. I tried my luck and she was so sweet and patient over the phone and was able to fit me in same day. I walked by the place because they’re on the second floor and there’s no good signs. So that’s one thing she can fix. Although it may not matter as you have to be buzzed in anyway. Mira was polite, welcoming and explained the process. Offered a beverage like coffee or water. She also made recommendations when asked. I didn’t feel like her suggestions were a money grab add on, they seemed genuine based on my description to her.
