1 /5 stephanie mendola: All cancer patients beware of this church!
In September 2023, I was headed into major cancer surgery. I called this church for some support through it all, at which time, I was told this church has a Christian cancer support group ministry. Originally, I was so happy to find a group like this. The leader of this cancer support ministry telephoned me and invited me to join them. She began to text message me each morning with encouraging words. And she prayed for me. On or about the third morning, she text messaged me an odd message talking about shame on my face. I could not understand why she sent me such a horrible message at a time when I was battling cancer and about to go into major cancer surgery. She never met me, I did not attend this church, and I did not understand what about my face she doesnt approve of. So I wrote to her asking why she would send me such a horrible message at a time like this in my life. She wrote back telling me she saw this message and thought it was a good idea to send it to me. I tried to have a conversation with her requesting more explaination and she shunned me to this day thus never explained herself. Nor did she apologize. Life and death is in the power of the tongue. Death was spoken into my life and left for dead. Only a witch would do this to someone. Certainly not a Holy Spirit filled person would be so perversed hearted.
Answer to the church reply:
I did not see your name. Who wrote the church reply?
The Scripture verse itself was not the problem. The problem was, in your church text, the human written commentary made multiple derogatory statements about shame on the face. And since this was sent to me, they were saying it to me. My Surgeon did not think anything was of concern about my face during my cancer journey into a dangerous major cancer surgery, so why does your church? Your reply to me seems more about gaslighting and downplaying the abuse and cruelty of this situation to protect your church. Or have you just not investigated this thoroughly. And no, your cancer support group leader did not make a good effort to have a professional conversation with me about this. She replied something quick and unacceptable and then gave me the silent treatment for five (5) months. She did not even call me after my surgery to see if I needed help. If you think that is acceptable, then you need more ministry training too, and check your reverence for God. That cancer support group leader should not be allowed to be around sick people with cancer who are fighting for their lives. I am bringing this to your attention, so either you fix this problem or God will fix this problem in your church, and all those who tolerate this too..
I will not be giving you anymore access to me other than this.
